Do you need a professional level of service to start your Bitcoin site?

Web Site Starter Package  
  • Wordpress installation
  • Must-have plugins (auto updates, security, SEO, cache, sitemaps, shortcodes, backups)
  • Theme installation and customization
  • Content design and strategy
  • Basic hosting package (1 GB space, 10 GB traffic/mth)

Only BTC6 setup + BTC1/year (hosting)!

My sites have a level of quality that is hard to find these days. Hosting includes everything you need: unlimited email addresses (email@yourdomain.com), ftp, MySQL databases, and lots of tools.

Are you really trying to charge $500 for setting up a wordpress site? It takes less than 10 minutes and requires no skill.

No. I'm charging BTC6 to build a custom designed, quality made site that uses Wordpress as the CMS.  Installing Wordpress, and the array of plugins is but a minor part of this.

The time and effort is designing a theme and proper content to match your brand identity.

One of my clients got a huge order from a major distributor today.  They are convinced that this success was due, in part, to the quality web site I built for them.

Needless to say, they are very happy with how the small investment in my services paid off for them

I don't know the OP. I'm not vouching for him, I have no interest in this offer...

...But here's an idea, if you think it's expensive, don't buy it.

I do freelance work in marketing consulting. I charge a lot more than my competitors. My clients are well aware of the guys who charge nothing, but they're happy to pay me what I charge. Because they know that I generate results.

Web design (especially when it comes to conversions, ROI, usability) isn't a commodity. You generally get what you pay for. If the market doesn't want to pay what he's charging he'll know soon enough. I hate when people accuse someone of being a "ripoff" for placing value on their own time. If he delivers for his customers they're much better off than going with the lowest bidder. In most cases people charge more for a reason. And if they're willing to work for nothing, there's a reason for that too.

My clients don't complain.  In fact, it is quite the opposite.  My clients love me.  Some of them have been with me since 1997.  They can leave anytime they want, but they know that for the results I deliver, my prices are a bargain.

So, you are right, when you can deliver results, your clients are happy to pay a fair price.  

And just look at the latest example.  A major order from a national distributor.  Do you think that's worth BTC6?

I did not claim their success.  It was the client who was convinced that a quality website that resonated with their brand identity played a significant role in their deal.  They obviously know more about the deal than I do, so if they think it played a role, then that's what counts to me.

And yeah, I'm going to brag when my clients do well and speak highly of my services.

Again, my clients love my services, and are happy to pay for quality.

He is cheap! I start@ 1k setup fee 600 yr @  for base config !  You want wordpress, shopping cart , auto shipping calculations, digital downloads, newsletter, blog, custom Design, content management, member zones, affiliate/partner program, seo services... yada yada yada

guess for your 10 minutes and a 45$ template you can maybe convince yourself to walk with a limp but after looking around and a few seconds you will want to just let someone ele do it so you can fixate on sales.. People dont wanna learn html /css or php or deal with apache.. they are happy to learn to install a wordpress plugin!

Most people arent looking for 1.99$ hosting and every unlimited feature known to mankind.. They want something thats well designed, is functional, scalable, cross platform, and is ready right away!! (haha)  Most of all they will pay for someone else to do it!!!! If you mix in other services you can play to a niche market and offer bundled services and it will make you very appealing... Maybe not to the people here but trust me.. he's cheap!

My clients find my services affordable and the results extraordinary, and that's what counts.  If price is the only thing that matters to you, my service is not for you.  If quality and brand identity are important to you, that's what I specialize in.

And yes, BTC6 is a discount, compared to my USD fees.

No problem man.. Sometimes what people dont get is they are paying for your experience, along with your time and skill!
 I know consultants who rake in big bucks to uhmmm "consult"!  I have a friend who's a senior level network admin for a huge real estate outfit and he was telling me they pay around 8k a month for maintenance & management for a custom site. He was laughing at me when i was telling him i charge $50-150 a month for hosting / site dev/maintenance! 

 
If people are complaining at your price point.. youre talking to the wrong people! Chances are they arent ready to make a commitment cash or otherwise and they will most likely produce a most uncomfortable look on their face when you ask them for a privacy policy or a mission statement, their target audience or even if they have a financial forecast or a road-map!

They just look at you like (You mean 10 minutes and a 45$ template doesnt buy me a fortune 500 company)?

yeah, I hear ya.  But you get it, you understand that not all services are created equal.  I am not trying to compete with oDesk programmers at $1/hr.
