Hey guys, BTC noob here. Used to tinker around with mining a bit in the past, but left it to chase other ventures, which I've somewhat now conquered, so I found my way back to bitcoins. No more mining for me (as I'm a sworn laptop user with no aims to get a desktop), but I'll get my bitcoins the other ways Wink

Just an update, to get up my postcount and keep you informed of my interests:

I am now also interested in BC investment, just hope not to fall for a ponzi. I am looking closely at MMM and gigagaming. If anybody has a clear warning for one of those, please pm me.

Hey all, i started mining around the beginning of the month and Im about to make my second bitcoin on a single card set up. I've got the asus hd6950 being overclocked from 790-890 with my fans at 60% and im always at a constant 60-68c!

Im trying to learn as much as i can about hardware, oc'ing and the bitcoin economy in general, so whats up!

Hi. I took some Lindens I'd made playing Second Life and bought 5 bitcoins to have a bit of fun on Mt Gox. The low risk way to start, free money :-)
Great forums, interesting and informative.

Hi I'm tenakha,

London based trader. I am fairly new to Bitcoin. I have bought 16 BTC so far with little difficultly.

Considering trying mining. But I have a NVidia Card, which I understand is useless for mining!

Welcome! Kinda sucks that you cant post for a while in different sections, and really when you have something good to contribute like tech support, but it keeps the trolling down a little maybe I think? lol

Greetings, Earthlings!

I have decided to give this Bitcoin thing a whirl using a new ASIC device from BFLabs.  It should be entertaining.  A minor (initial?) loss of 150 green pieces of paper is no big deal.  My E-450 is ready to go.

Any idea how many watts one will use?
