I'm new, what's up all. You're no doubt miles ahead of me as far as BTC knowledge goes....... I have a home wallet, a blockchain.info wallet, mt. gox account, a dwolla account, I know about bitinstant, etc........and I know I want bitcoins, and I'm close to getting there; but  I don't have a home printer for sheet to take for cash deposit. I found out about BTC from the FreeTalkLive show out of NH- they've been talking about them for a couple years.
I linked bank account to Dwolla, but know I"m at their will as far as when the payments go through.
I've been wanting bitcoins for a year, and know now that I have to get them, no more effin excuses.  I'm not the most technologically savvy bloke on the planet, but I know there are those with less skill in the brain or on the comp. ......and they have BTC, and I'm out here blowing in the wind.
Any thoughts, solutions... whatever.  I just want BTC, safe (does everyone trust blockchain.info?), now, and want to get active in purchasing products with them.
OK, do your worst with me, and have a great day

Hello world.....

I got into mining about a week ago. Been mining successfully (by small margins lol) for the past week. Right now I'm using a combination of my GTX480 (885core/2000mem), GT 610 (1100core/639mem) for BTC and one or two threads of my FX-6300(4.4GHz) for LTC and my a8-3500M(2.2GHz) cpu threads for LTC and my 6620G built into that apu for LTC.

I enjoy overclocking, you can find me at overclock.net sometimes Smiley. I also just enjoy computing in general Smiley

My name is Mike.

I've been in the bitcoin "game" about 2 months now, and I've more than doubled my investment already. I am a long term bull who wishes to one day only have to use bitcoin. Most of my stash is in Casascius coins and bars, and I also lend some BTC on Bitfinex. I've mostly been a lurker, then wished to post in Spec Forum/Wall observer until I found out I have to have 5 posts. I guess my tidbit of information will be invalid by then lol.

Hello

Coming here to get started on mining, particularly LTC, what with the coming ASIC rollouts.

I've been on the Internets for ages, but just jumped in here. Man, I wish I had bought a pile of coins after the last crash.

Got into bitcoin a couple years ago. Decided to found a startup that accepts bitcoin. After more than a year of work, I think we finally have niche product that bitcoin users will love and will make life better for a lot of people. Very excited, to say the least.

Apologies for posting this here, have spent 30mins trying to work out how to post a new topic. There's no option anywhere for me to do that, really wanted to post this in the marketplace:

I'm going to Peru for an ayahuasca retreat next week, and the dude there accepts bitcoin now... just in case there's anybody out there that wants to indulge in a mindblowing experience!!! http://www.amaruspirit.com/retreats/

Also wanted to share, I've been giving away bitcoin the last two weeks and have had mindbending conversations with friends as I've answered their questions with my limited knowledge. So far one dude now has mining equipment and proudly owns .00034 BTC, he  is now talking about investing in the ASIC mining rig, another is testing it out with his savings for a holiday in June, all of them now have wallets and are exploring what bitcoin is. Together we're discussing possibilities FOR trading openly and creating our own terms/conditions. Liberating!

I LOVE BITCOIN.

I'm new to bitcoins and bitcoin mining (2 days).  I have a background both in computer science and in equities trading/algorithmic trading.  I'm wondering if I'm too late to the mining scene, given that asics are here or imminent.  Currently playing around with an HD7770 board, getting 200Mh/sec.  Electric rates are not an issue for me (have access to free).  Wondering if I should pick up some used fpga boards.  I calculate that I'll recoup in 2 - 3 months, but wondering if difficulty will increase by then....
