I'm SystemDisc. I'm relatively new to the Bitcoin community, but I've already made some trades. I have a background in software development which has been helping me understand a lot about Bitcoins and crypto-currency in general. I mainly joined this forum to attempt to be of help to other members and to get involved in the community.

oh hi there.  Started mining in 2011, burned out a GPU, said F it after the first crash.  Been following and my confidence has been renewed by the resiliency and increased adoption.  I'm back on the bandwagon and here to stay.  I'm a big-time libertarian, so I'm glad to see the BTC concept has legs.  I hope the impending bubble burst doesn't cause a problem, but given the prior bounce-back I think bitcoin will continue to see adoption in the long-term.

Hi all!

I have been browsing and reading the forums for some months now. I've a Avalon batch #2 order which I hope to receive in the near future!

I've got 1 question for which I can't find an answer on this forum or your favorite search engine: How much bandwidth does an Avalon consume? The fastest connection over here is max 800KB/s, which is also used for browsing the web and torrenting (limited bandwidth ofcourse;)).

BTC send to 1DZK7skHmfLYgu1ZvfiVTRTKGhwfkQn6xH are lost in /dev/null !!

Hi,

I'm Atix. I started mining bitcoins in 2011, but my pc was too slow. Now it is still too slow but I'm interrested in maybe investing in a rig or in bitcoins.

Hi everyone!

I was figuring since ASICS are coming up, I should probably join the Bitcoin mining as long as my FirePro cards are still worth anything ;-)

Absolute newbie here, even though quite technically inclined. Mostly hardware, though.

I am running cgminer/stratum with:
3x FirePro W7000
1x FirePro W5000
1x FirePro 4800

and get around 1.3Gh/s.

Enjoy everyone Smiley

Hi everybody, I'm a newbie! Well, a newbie on the forum, but a Bitcoin investor for a little over a year. Even by that measure I'm sure I'm still a newbie compared to a lot of people here...

I'm also the guy responsible for the Rally Song that my buddy Chainsaw (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=89959) has been posting about: http://orymh.bandcamp.com/track/the-bitcoin-rally-song. If you like a blend of techno and polka, then it should be just your style!

I'm fairly Bitcoin-savvy, so if any even-more-of-a-newbie-than-I-am people have questions, hit me up and I'll help if I can.

I'm Chad! I came here to sell some computer hardware in exchange for BTC. I've got quite a bit of server hardware sitting around waiting for a new owner.

I'm sure I read about Bitcoins about a year or two back but didn't look any deeper, obviously I really regret that!

I bought some coins a few weeks back, sold some yesterday and re-bought some today.

Nice to meet everyone. I am an animation and comic studio owner. We produce animation for commercials, TV, and theatrical release. We also make a webcomic/manga/anime thing called JoeisJapanese.com. We're thinking about crowdfunding direct using bitcoin as this may be the future for consumer <-> creator relationships. We're looking forward to the madness!

Howdy all. +1 for nortega, I think btc & other cryptos are great way to fund creative projects. Bump for nortega's website joeisjapanese.com.
