'Ello!
I'm digdan, a web developer. As a techie I'm drawn to bitcoins intrinsic value. As a political activist, I'm drawn to bitcoins libertarian nature.
Got a good idea for the next Bitcoin App? Let me know, I'm currently considering projects.

Quote from: 4EverMaAT on June 30, 2012, 12:49:23 PM Quote from: LittleDigger on June 30, 2012, 09:07:47 AM I live on a pittance so I'm hedging my bets. I'll wait until BFL starts rolling out the new ASIC's and take a look at the mining environment and make a decision then. My greatest concern is that between the halving of rewards for blocks, and large capital investments in ASIC's by individuals, mining will require large capital investment and be beyond the reach of hobbists like myself. On the other hand, I may get a return on my initial investment of 50% and end up with two decent gaming rigs. I know there are BLF products out there, but a cardinal rule of dealing on the internet has been not trusting dealings by wire order. Why can't you trust any dealings by wire order? Wire transfer's have a reputation for being the prefered payment option of internet conmen, although logically a good con would take your money any way they could get it. If I see a company that takes paypal, credit cards, and wire order, I think they are probably legit and have no real reservations. If I see a company that takes just wire orders I am really wary. Though, in trying to find an example, I came across this statement "As long as you avoid transfers via cash offices and stick to transfers performed bank-to-bank, wire transfer is a very safe way to move money around." so it's probably bias from my ignorance in regards to wire transfers

SoCal here. Cryptogeek forever. Read the original paper before a client ever existed and my hardcore Mises'ness had me just shrugging it off. Yes, I feel dumb. But this is how it goes.

I am a retard and trying to be a lesser retard I am completely impressed by the bitcoin, some times scared by what Dan Kaminsky says about bitcoin, most of the time confused about the state of the art crypto currency

Riko here I just learned about bitcoins yesterday and I'm quite intrigued. I've already started mining (though only at 30 mhash/s) and am hoping to learn more about this "money"

It's nice to have a place to discuss BTC and mining. This has peaked my interest immensely. If anybody is into progressive rock, you can download all of my records for free at: http://discography.woolgatherband.com/ , as a thank you for all your help here.

Quote from: Turdit on April 25, 2013, 02:38:41 AM Well it does not seem to be working yet.... Hello everyone! Just getting into NerdCoin. Name's Jill, from Seattle. I'm mining with my gaming PC in Slush's pool. It's a real pain. I haven't been able to play Crysis 3 yet. Mining is taking over my life

please do so! and get a post don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off. relax take it easy and smile. Mod note: If you see anyone spamming this thread, please report it. Spam will result in an immediate ban.I can post here... BFL banned me for disagreeing with them, they send me here. Interesting stuff.
