Hi All,

About 2 years ago I setup bitcoin and I'm pretty sure I mined about 10 bitcoins. I saved the wallet.dat file back then and it's about 800k in size. Yesterday I decided to get back into mining and installed the latest bitcoin client miner and wallet apps on my pc.

When I ran the wallet app, it said my wallet was out of sync and I let it sync up but it says I have 0 bitcoins. As I said, I'm sure I had 10.

Is it possible that because I've used a new username and password for bitcoin miner that it's not getting the correct data from the wallet?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

xenonex
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Did you:

Shutdown the Bitcoin client.

Copy the back-up of your wallet.dat (containing the 10 BTC) to:

C:\Users\xenonex2003\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin

Start the Bitcion client.
Wait.

?

Btw, user/password for miner is not important and/or relevant
