I tried to put 500 ETH on Celtic to win after about 5 mins played. But I hadn't used my Ethereum wallet in a day and it needed to sync... so the transaction didn't go out yet and Celtic have scored now. 

So my bet was going to go on at 1.97 odds, and its dropped to 1.3 now which it will presumably go through at.

Then you should sync your wallet in advance if you want to place your bet that you are preparely certain to win without problems.

I don't really fancy that as its obvious from a lot of threads people have zero clue about bankroll management.  I can see it now; someone sees me having some success and goes all in following me. And loses the lot on the first one thats wrong and I get the blame.

Plus I often bet in play, I'm busy watching the games / placing my bets, I don't have time to keep a thread up to date in time for anyone else to follow it.  The blockchain is public info though and you can paste transaction id's into Direct Bet so feel free to do so if you care enough

This is not the same as dice game because in dice game you need to calculate the house edge too meanwhile sportbetting doesnt have house edge. It is not a guarantee winning with 1.2 odds but still it has a better chance to win if you compare it to 2.00 odds moreover you can boost it by gathering more information about each bet so you can win it easily then. May be if you place on dice it is good enough but for sportbetting I think place huge amount on low odds is better
