SOLAR ACTIVITY INTENSIFIES (UPDATED): Sunspot complex AR2565-AR2567 is crackling with M-class solar flares as magnetic fields threading the behemoth active regions stretch, twist, and re-connect.  Mike Taormina photographed the sunspots' seething cores from his backyard observatory in Malta, New York:

Quote
"The sun was alive with activity today!" says Taormina. "I am constantly amazed at the impressive level of detail that a small solar telescope can capture under good seeing conditions."

Quote
Update: A series of explosions crossing the July 20-21 UT day boundary hurled two CMEs away from the sun's southwestern limb.  Coronagraph images from SOHO show that the clouds are not heading directly for Earth. Nevertheless, glancing blows to our planet's magnetic field may be possible in 2 to 3 days. NOAA analysts are modeling the storm clouds now. Stay tuned for storm tracks.

CMEs WILL MISS EARTH: A pair of CMEs hurled into space on July 19-20 by a cluster of explosions in sunspot complex AR2565-AR2567 will not hit Earth. NOAA analysts have determined that the storm clouds will miss our planet.

By the way guys i was intending on posting here if we have a CME Alert.
In case you are not aware this could be rather big news if we get hit with a big one.
The damage could plunge us into medieval times and collapse countries.
For example if the aging Power-Grid in USA / Canada was knocked out *again*
We *could* see power outages that span possibly months..
This was would be colossal & monumental devastation to a country !
And in this age of everything being electronic & digital this could be catastrophic.

We had been hit more than once really good last 100+ years twice.
This is not one of those things that happens every million years or something.
This is a real threat that has been issued from NASA themselves LOTS !
NASA has said officially the damage could be huge and the warning we could have may be *minutes*
This is no little crack pot conspiracy theory people !

Are you prepared right now this very minute to have your whole town with no power for months ?
What would you do ?
Wouldn't take long for those grocery stores shelves to be ransacked by a mob.
Food in cold storage would be spoiled.. Police would be over run and Marshall Law may be put in place.
This could happen a few minutes from now.. ANYTIME !

PS:
Your Bitcoin transactions will not be going through either LOL

So you disagree with Earth's scientific community ?
Fair enough.. your allowed.
Not too wise though.

It would take 2 seconds to search online and see NASA themselves telling you what i said.
Or you may have seen them saying it on TV countless times for 10 years on countless TV science shows..
It's common knowledge ..not conspiracy.

After all smartass why the fuck do you think the science community issued ALERTS ?
(or do you think i sat here and faked all this ?)

You will note i COPIED & PASTED THE WORDS ..that say A L E R T  Cheesy

You might want to consider getting smarter.. it might help you LIVE longer.

This also illustrates a failure in Bitcoin's design ..electricity requirements.
Computing errors can be costly..
A couple days before the Pentagon got hit by terrorists they announced on TV
they could not account for over a Trillion dollars because of an computer accounting "error"
So the vision that Bitcoin can be the replacement for FIAT is silly.
It does not have the stability & redundancy to stay usable if mass power outages were happening.

Another conspiracy though ? LOL

Ignorance is bliss huh FoxPup ?

Our power grids are quite well-protected, thanks in no small part to NASA and other researchers keeping a (metaphorical) eye on what the sun's doing. There'll always be crackpots like you who misinterpret these alerts as representing some kind of danger that, for some conspiratorial reason, nobody else is warning about, but with the rise of public information and decline of public education, it regrettably can't be helped. Undecided

No they are not and that has been stated publicly by professionals in every discussion on this matter.
Which is why you really should do your homework.
If they were fixed there would not have been any issue..
The key issue is the cost to upgrade the grid across North America and the motivation to do it !

Don't forget we already seen this happen from Quebec Canada down to NY USA.
It wasn't protected then and there was mass black outs.

No clue where the hell you pulled that statement from but i never heard even 1 person say that before.
A ballsy claim !
Can you back that up ?

I have on my HDD right now about 20 different TV shows that repeat what i said with scientists.
Educational science shows say this NON STOP.. shows that are often shown to students in school.
Yet somehow on every single topic i post in this section you show up and..
Insult me.. make cracks about conspiracies then try and argue with anything i post.

If i post "The sky is blue" are you going to post some conspiracy theory meme's and argue about that too ?

How it can affect someone, who is inside the cement steel-beton building??

The satellite communications or International Space station might be hitted.

Good point.. i had a thought after i posted earlier related to what you said.
Which is.. Satellites !

This too is a vulnerability then i started wondering about evacuation procedures on the ISS too.

The thing is we DO know a CME can knock out satellites.. it's already happened.
I seen the feed on one that was running (on a TV show) where it got hit..
The thing got fried / overloaded & shutdown.
Soo think about the reliance we have on those these days.
And was it protected against CME's ? apparently no !
Neither are the ancient power grid's we use.

No idea where Foxpup was getting his info from but i know where i am in Canada
are our grids are sketchy !
And i have heard lots the USA's is just as bad..

In my town power outages are common and like all systems .. they are old.
Power is not a new concept.. upgrades are costly / labor intensive projects.
Power grids were never intended in the first place to be safe guarded from CME's !
This was NOT planned into their original design.

Further more in my town and others i have lived in across Canada power outages were common.
Ice storms out east knocked out power for ages not long ago.. wind storms here kill us off out west.
In my town we get them for all kinds of reasons.. they are common.
AND !
I have had my PC fried because of a brown out too.
We had a power surge and through my power bar i was using i got hit..
When i pulled my PC apart that would not turn on anymore i looked inside my PSU
and i had blown Cap's ..bulging etc and i had looked not long before that so i new it was fresh..
I replaced them with some new ones i had ordered online before and my PC was working again.

People any electronic devices are vulnerable.
Why do you think Armies around the world have invested in EMP weapon tech ?
I seen proof the Russian army was testing EMP weapons in a remote location before too.
They had a red fire in the sky caught on camera then same spot 2 days later another one but blue.
Again on camera..

Then take the little side town in Italy for example..
The Pope at the Vatican prayed for them because they thought the devil was out to get them.
What was happening was the various electrical boxes etc in homes were bursting into flames
and no one knew why..
Most of the homes in the town were afflicted with this ongoing problem.
The Italian govt sent people to investigate after the Police + Fire couldn't figure it out.
The mayor ordered the power grid cut off 100% for the investigations and they still had fires popping up.
Later govt investigators found that there was other strange electronic activity going on too..
Such as garage door openers going off on people or electric car windows were moving
or car door locks were were locking or unlocking on their own..

So.. were all of those things "protected" from CME's ?
Fuck no.

Later the Italian investigators found super high spikes / levels of magnetic power or some shit LOL
read.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caronia#Canneto_di_Caronia_fires

I seen the info on a TV show in 2013 called = The Unexplained Files - S01E03 - Ghost Yacht & Mystery Fires

Learn to read (what i quoted word for word from Scientists)
You are bullshitting claiming i said things i did not.
It's real easy.. scroll up, read quote(s).. done.

And yeah this 1 incident i posted about is not the point.
The point is they occur all the time.

Cry conspiracy & crack jokes all you want.. see if i care (i am not the fool here)

At least you will be silent when the power gets knocked out ROFL
You won't be here or anywhere online quite possibly.
Silly kids think the internet can not be taken down.

Well it's effectively the same thing if say all of Europe or all of North America gets its power cut off.

You guys are being retarded mouthy little assholes. (Trolling me here)
I just said i seen a video from NASA showing a satellite recording video get hit & killed.
It happened some years back but it's real & it DID happen.
Want to see it just google around & find it.
Information is out there but if you choose to be ignorant cocky mouthy brats that is your prerogative.

The reality is the sun goes through an 11 years cycle roughly with more or less activity.
Activity = CME's
Well there is actually an equal risk when the sun goes dormant too !
Turns out the low activity period of time allows far more to hit us from outer space.
So we still are getting tons of Auroras etc even with no CME's !
The High activity time period actually provides more of a defense for us.. weird yeah LOL

CME's happen anytime though.. and there is a reason why the USA setup a Military Space command.
They watch for them 24/7
I guess they are conspiracy nutjobs too huh ?

I can't actually even believe you people will get lippy about this.
Every one of you must be trying to Troll here because you can't be that stupid in this day & age.
If not ? get the in school ASAP !

And don't be a retard.
Did i say you should sit by your window in tears shaking in horror 24/7 waiting for the big CME' to come get you ?

They are a valid ongoing *extremely* serious threat to society around the globe.
And no that is NOT debatable in the slightest.. it's simply called life.
Probability wise it is likely to happen and soon too !

CHANCE OF STORMS TOMORROW: NOAA forecasters say there is a 45% chance of G1-class geomagnetic storms on July 26th when shock waves on the outskirts of a CME might deliver a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

So this bit of info tells us we have a 50/50 chance of G class activity.
Which means a bit of a light show if anything. (in the Southern Pole region)
Nothing to be worried about.

What is interesting though is WHY we got this alert.
Further reading says this..

Quote
SOUTHERN LIGHTS: A minor stream of solar wind is buffeting Earth's magnetic field. On July 25th, it caused a beautiful display of southern lights over New Zealand.

How did such a minor stream of solar wind produce such beautiful lights? It had help. Magnetic fields in the interplanetary space tilted south and linked up with Earth's magnetic field. This opened a crack in our planet's magnetosphere. Solar wind poured in to fuel the display.

Which the "Crack" link at Nasa.gov says..

Quote
"We've discovered that our magnetic shield is drafty, like a house with a window stuck open during a storm," says Harald Frey of the University of California, Berkeley, lead author of a paper on this research published Dec. 4 in Nature. "The house deflects most of the storm, but the couch is ruined. Similarly, our magnetic shield takes the brunt of space storms, but some energy slips through its cracks, sometimes enough to cause problems with satellites, radio communication, and power systems."

So.. What the hell was i just saying people ?
I said NASA / gov + satellites, radio communication, and power systems.
There ya go.. PROOF !
All you would have to do is LOOK to find it.. rather than posting here tinfoil hat pictures.

And that specific reference to "risk" was in regards to a crack that we have..
We don't even NEED a crack to have a serious risk either !

The reality is we have little protection on the poles.
When we get pounded by a large CME it slams into the side of our planet then ripples around and penetrates our North / South poles where there is virtually no field protection.

Here is a picture from Wikipedia showing the field in action from Earths "dynamo"

So i am saying on a regular basis we get energy pouring into the poles..
Which is why we ALWAYS have Auroras etc on the Poles all the time.
This is normal all year round..

Problem is when we get hit with a strong enough Coronal Mass Ejection (CME)
Our Magnetic field defenses get over whelmed and those poles get flooded hard.
And in the past that has meant intense effects on us all.
Such as something we have not seen in our modern times for a while..
The Northern Lights on the Equator !
If you see that you KNOW damn well something bad is happening !
It's been over a 100 years since we documented this happening..
But when we did the effects were not good !

There was reports of Telegraphs catching fire.
And because of the flooding we had people reporting Telegraphs were working over the ocean.
Imagine needing to run a cable from the UK to the USA to connect to devices.
Now imagine the atmosphere was so flooded we did not need the cable anymore !
THAT ..is what actually happened !

You may think hey.. so what ?
Who cares if telegraphs were set on fire 100+ years ago.. and more recently power was knocked out from Quebec to New York ?
Well look around !
We have evolved far past the using of Telegraphs to an infrastructure heavily reliant on Electricity.
Just on our planet surface let alone out Satellites and Space Station etc.

So hell bloody yeah we ALL should be watching out for this sort of thing.
The site i linked to Spaceweather.com should be watched as much as your local TV weather !

GEOMAGNETIC STORM WARNING: NOAA forecasters estimate a 65% chance of geomagnetic storms on Aug. 2nd when a CME is expected to strike Earth's magnetic field.  A solar wind stream following close on the heels of the CME could boost storm levels to G2 (moderately strong). High latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

So apparently just another light show nothing to panic about.. yet !

I have a weird story to share though..
I went out a few years back to have a smoke outside during a hot summer afternoon..

I noticed the second i planted my ass down to light my smoke (with my back facing the sun)
that my back was burning bad right through my full sized T-Shirt !
I immediately thought this just is not right !
And i had never thought that ever once before either.

While i was sitting there it felt like my back was pressed against an oven element or something.
Like instantly too..
Such as put your arm in the sun's ray's and it hurt with 0 delay.
Take your arm out and your fine..

So i couldn't shake the curiosity when i got back in the house and i got on Google !
I found the site www.spaceweather.com

What did it say ?

It said that summer day we were in the middle of getting slammed in *my region* heavily
by an X class flare !

So to me i think sometimes you can tell ..you just know.

But it's not all burned backs either LOL
Check out that link for a picture from Alberta 2 days ago where they got a pic of a Proton Arc.
