Yep. I've seen people state that if it drops to $610 the bottom will fall out and could go as low as $450.
Even if it does drop so low, I'm sure it will go back, its just a question of how long will it take?

everything is just fine as long as we are above the $600 price level. if we drop below $600 then it might tank even deeper. but then again, it will be a nice moment to buy some extra coins.

everything is just fine as long as we are above the $600 price level. if we drop below $600 then it might tank even deeper. but then again, it will be a nice moment to buy some extra coins.
I wouldn't say fine, because nobody wants to see a coin (in this case bitcoin) falling down almost 50$(except those that want to buy at this stage), It's not a crash of course but fine is not. It's the 1st of the month and people get their salary on this time but maybe they are selling their additional savings on bitcoin because of the holiday that is in most of the countries. |

So far my prediction of the price testing $600 is becoming reality. It will be very interesting to see if the price gets supported long enough to maintain a position above $600. I think it will.

We have never seen any panic dumps that have resulted in the obliteration of bitcoin. I don't think it will be the end of the world. It is actually good for bitcoin to go sun $600 and stay there for a while. It needs to be accumulated by the ones who are not willing to buy at +$650.

Just need some time to go back to track @ $600 and up. However, $500 and up is still good, the first time I used bitcoin, it's only about $200 to $300, so this fall didn't affect me so much. Few bitcoiners already sold some of their coins due to panic and fear of losing their investment these past few days, I hope they don't regret it. |

people are about to withdraw their coins from bitfinex (or atleast whats left of their coins) and are planning on cashing out of bitcoin. also the fact that the hacker may not have sold the bitcoins and is planning on selling soon can cause price drops. |

Why price is falling, when there is many people who buy and sell coins, many transactions. Why price doesn't go up?
ok lets say we have a small market of 10 people. lets assume its balanced so theres 5 people selling btc and theres 5people buying btc. but if the 5 people start selling more than what the 5 can buy, theres a surplus of bitcoins. so what do the 5 people do? they lower their prices so their bitcoins get bought first. and the market will keep forcing a low price, untill there are more buy offers than sell offers. at that point people will put up buy offers for higher price so they get the first buy. |

After Bitcoin took off, people started to create their own variations. Most of these variations have offered no meaningful improvement over Bitcoin. The only two alt-coins that have actually made an improvement meantime are ZeroCoin and Ethereum. now ethereum too met a slight fall and hope bitcoin will rise very soon to $700. |

yes. This now looks bitcoin market shock. some time yesterday bitcoin prices are at a low point. many bitcoin traders who sell them at a cheap price. Usually kwukduck only comes up with nonsense, but the price did actually got dumped down heavily where 2 days later the price dropped under the $500 level. And yes, as you see the price has recovered and is now around the $590 level. I think it's a matter of days before we see $600 again. |

The price is almost at $600 now. I hope it will continue to go up and there is no bad news again. I think when it crosses $600 it will be the support and then it will continue to rise until it will reach a new high again. It only cross below $600 before because of the hacking and I think the price will not go down as low as that if nothing happened. |

Bitcoin can reach $1000 in a few hours, if their is a event driving it. We need a sustained growth over a longer period for merchants to accept it as a stable currency with low volatility. |

Maybe you will be awake in a week or two when the coil ends and maybe, a very unlikely maybe will be seeing a 30-40$ dip for a period of 15-20 minutes max. Only if it catches you awake in non-weird hours! But if u'r from the West and China decides to do stuff while you sleep... you should just HODL and sleep without worry! |

The hackers didn't dump anything. Their main priority is to get the coins off the exchange as soon as possible. They just have the coins in their posession and are most likely mixing them in small batches right now. The hackers would be very stupid if they try to sell down the market as the exchange where they would sell the coins can either block their account, or simply refuse to let the withdrawal of fiat come through since it's fraudulent. This is assuming Bitfinex is really hacked. |

Price actually fell sharply during those days just because the hackers hacked and dumped the coins straight away to get out of the markets with fiat instead of bitcoins itself. They just created a foggy environment where, with them, others too started panicking and sold their coins too. But remember, bitcoin is still cheap.

This is assuming Bitfinex is really hacked. which is correct the hackers wannabe will not dumped the coin right away they will make it little by little the price fell down but its now showing some stability much better to fluctuating from time to time so I guess we are still in good shape and bitcoin is an investment to hold. |

The panic dump is on what do you people really mean with this is it that there are allot of people getting rid of their coins because they dont trust in it anymore or is it more the way people think about the bitcoin and wanted to dump them but are only bullshitting around.

Why are people always try to scare other people off because the dump is not on why is everybody thinking that they are going to dump their coins dont you see how high the price of the bitcoins is right now you need to wait as long as possible off course for the best profit.

I like dumps, can't wait till it rises above 600 again and then im cashing in.. try to see the positive in the negatives, there are always ways to abuse and use a certain situation.

I believe that the panic situation will subdue with time,the last panic dump happened when Bitfinex exchange was hacked and right now bitcoin is consolidating at 560$ i guess.
i think the market is trading in a stable position for some weeks therefore there is no panic like situation in the market and hope that the price of bitcoi n will staring increasing very soon, and this time the bitcoin price is going to cross the all time high level. I’m pretty sure there is no panic dump going on. We would be looking at bitcoin being below $500 if there really were a significant amount of people dumping their bitcoin. Just a market fluctuations in my opinion. Bitcoin is known for self recovery, these temp dumps will not last for long. |

These people will never change. So yes, smart traders are using them to gain profits and buy up their coins. Without these people, the market would be a whole lot less volatile. |
