Just bought a new Win10 computer. My 32gb backup dongle is not recognized by the Win10 computer, but it's still recognized by the Win7 computer and works perfectly on it. Does not even show up in file manager nor windows Disk Management Panel. Tried it in the USB3.0 slots in the front and the USB2.0 slots in the back, same result.

The things I tried on the Win10 computer are: I uninstalled all the usb items in device manager and rebooted. I also upgraded all the motherboard chipset drivers from Intel and rebooted. Still don't recognize it.

Any ideas how I could get the Win10 box to recognize the dongle?

Thanks in advance.

why don't you install puppylinux in your usb flash and try to boot it.it is a seperate os so it will run only from your usb when you make it usb bootable.and then you can transfer your files from your usb to hard disk

This is way off topic for here, but did you try any of these?  (first link from Google):

Does any other USB stick work in your computer?
Does that stick work anywhere else?

You said it worked before on a Windows 7 machine.
Did you ever format this USB stick to run on a Mac computer? OSX uses HFS+ file system and isn't readable by Windows.
Or was it still on NTFS/ FAT etc...

Have you tried viewing it in Disk Management console? This  gives you more info about the discs attached to your PC.
Just search for diskmgmt.msc
see if it shows up there.
