Is it more profitable to mine btg with a 1060? Someone already tried?
Hashrate on BCG is insane. However, it is an equihash algo. You want to go for low difficulty coins if you want to be extremely profitable.

I have BTG mining SOLO, and on EWBF & CCMINER

It's all the same 1060 3 & 6 GB cards about 300 sols/sec ( equihash )

The difficulty right now on testnet is 45,000, its reporting about 5 days for luck

When I target a RIG at BTG ( pool.gold or solo ) at +2k sols/sec, my  luck goes to 0.3 days, I get paid out in 'testnet' but it never shows up on the bgold-cli "getbalance" or on there 'explorer' because NONE of the BTCGPU software works, its all a pile of shit, a poorly deployed BTC clone, the developers are chinese ASIC guys who don't know C++.

mining bitcoinz(equihash) or bitcore(timetravel 10) is the most profitable now

There's a video about a guy who mines with 1060. And he said he can only mine for 10 hours.

Can we have a little discussion about the crypto to mine?

What are you guys mining? I'm running ETH + SIA with small profits, thinking about moving to Vertcoin or Monero

Has anyone tried mining using the below cards?

1. ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1060 AMP Core Edition, 3GB, GDDR5, 192 bit
2. Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 Twin X2, 3GB, GDDR5, 192 bit
3. Palit GeForce GTX 1060 Dual 3GB GDDR5 192bit

I'm currently interested in building a rig and would like some opinions.

Thanks!

Tried to search on different topics and blogs and couldn't find exact results.

So, what is the hashrate of GTX 1060 on different algos? Especially on Ether.

Hi,

Here's a chart that shows cost vs hashrate for different 3GB cards.
https://www.pyramidreviews.com/cryptocorner/mining-gpu-speed-and-price-comparison/ethereum-mining-speed-gpu-comparison-for-gtx1060-3gb/

Those 3 cards should mine about the same speed, but the Inno3d and Palit are usually way more expensive than the Zotac so they aren't as profitable to buy.

If you are buying cards these days, chances are they will come with Hynix memory, so mining Ethash won't be as profitable as mining Equihash.

I was under the impression that memory isn't as critical on the Equihash algorithm (vs Ethash), but I see your settings are different for each - including your power limit.
Can you tell me how much power the Hynix card is using compared to the faster-hashing-Micron card?

Are they running about the same Sol/Watt?

I am inclined to go with the ZOTAC above the others (even though is 1-3% more expensive than the others where I live) howeve, I've heard they can get pretty hot. Is that so?
