What's up with these 0.25 MNC block rewards? I can't find any mention of them in the docs or any of the MNC threads I can find, but I'm seeing a lot of them and have even found a couple of the blocks - <snip> 2014-04-03 16:15:38.616496 New work for worker! The block rewards are 2 MNC (plus any transaction fees that get included). What version of p2pool are you running? My guess is the SUBSIDY_FUNC in bitcoin/networks.py is incorrect. If there really were block worth less than 2 MNC, you would be able to find them with any blockexplorer.

Great coin but please change difficulty re-targeting algo! Multipools currently manipulating the difficulty and making this coin difficult to mine...

This coin might be so minimalist that it is nearly impossible to find active nodes.
Thanks to Rossen, I finally (after days of googling and trying different ways) managed to find some. Couldn't even find them on the dev's own forum
In case anybody needs a few active nodes:
$ mincoind getpeerinfo | grep addr\" "addr" : "62.210.5.232:9334", "addr" : "108.61.10.90:9334", "addr" : "146.0.32.101:9334", "addr" : "72.46.152.250:9334", "addr" : "195.154.223.134:9334", "addr" : "157.161.128.55:9334", "addr" : "73.9.181.217:47461", "addr" : "139.162.128.92:9334",

Hi Devvie, Cleaning up my old wallets... I guess this one died, huh? : ) Ah well, I'll morn at a later time... ;-)
Just to be clear, Mincoin certainly isn't dead, only the old protocol wallet. There is an active thread and we are listed on Trade Satoshi with BTC/LTC and DOGE pairings. Join us on freenode in #mincoin if you want to checkout the party. Things are happening and we certainly welcome any enthusiasm. Since there was a protocol upgrade to v70002, the v0.8.8 Mincoin wallet is the only one which has been released since the hard fork. You should be able to launch it and find 8+ nodes very quickly without any customization of the mincoin.conf. Additionally, the profit-switching pools aren't a problem anymore. Mincoin's SplashGuard is taking care of that for us with a little help from our friends who developed Dark Gravity Wave v3. Best Regards, -Chicago
