I don't know how many times I need to repeat myself, but we really didn't see real effects of halving. Do you people really thing that things are happening over night?
Even last time after halving, there was few months passed before bitcoin reached his record. I think there is chance for us to see similar scenario this year, there is still a lot until the end of the year. I'm more interested where we will be in January and February after this rise happen, can bitcoin hold it or will it drop again a lot like last time.

Definitely. We saw even as it plumeted downto 460 it shot back up the 500's the exact same day, and now we're bouncing around just under 600.

This is the same number that I was thinking it would be because it is just hovering at this price for a while now with out any movement. I think when it gets above the hundreds then it starts to climb upwards.

I'm personally hoping that the price will continue with its decreasing trend, low enough for others to make use of the opportunity to purchase loads of bitcoins. But as other has said, the trend will probably stop in a few weeks time, and rebound back & possibly over its original valuations before the hack.

I'll be the pre-judge and not buy any of that stuff.  It's bitcoin or nothing for me, all altcoins are going to zero eventually with the exception of maybe 3.  And those will probably go to zero in a few years.

We got a dump because of bitfinex and now we're in the rebound phase.  Feels great!

in my opinion, the rate will up until $600 in next week and stable in that rate while after that the rate will be up and down, like rebounds because of buy and sell demands. but its only my wishes and my dream. i hope its come true so we all are happy

I think the price of bitcoin will go up, but not fast, maybe slow increase day per day. If the bitcoin's price goes down i will try to wait first and when i try to predict the next price.

The factor can make the price of bitcoin is rising or not it's had a various reason, like demand of bitcoin, their users and various cases is can become some factor for bitcoin. but I sure after seeing the market bitcoin will increase slowly. if the price of bitcoin will rising I wanna selling my BTC into USD balance and wait for them until the price is fall.

i think a bit of a down turn at this point would be healthy and normal, considering the circumstances...

i believe downward trend will be there for few days and again it may rise with high volume. probably bitcoin price down people may selling more btc based on panic that hacking news happening on so many sites.

this is the phase for whales to accumulate bitcoin, look at the ridiculous trade volume that has been happening in the past few days. can you see the amount of bitcoin that they have been buying while keeping the price down?

Yes, it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin and events like Bitfinex and Mt. Gox, make them even more difficult to predict the prices.
Thus i belief  no one can exactly predict the future of this coin.
