wondering, what could be this ONE thing .... Huh Huh

Express REDIRECTION to third party site(s)

Have you log-in into to bitcointalk forum, click on a single link and boom you find yourselve on another website.
Nothing like opening in a new windows (for safety of people who are babes when it comes to using computer) on bitcointalk forum.

Sometime, even advance computer user's can land on a third-party site before realizing that they actually clicked on a link.

What do you mean finding yourself on another website? You meant you clicked the signature link of others? Besides that, there aren't any hidden ads on this forum

And you easily know if it wil rederict to other site or only here in the forum by hovering the links and become color green the hover of the link

Nothing like opening in a new windows (for safety of people who are babes when it comes to using computer) on bitcointalk forum.
This was removed from the forum a few months ago due to security concerns.

Regardless, I can't say I really understand what you're talking about. It's very easy to avoid being redirected by being wary of what you're doing whilst on the forum. In addition, using CTRL+Click or Mouse 3 when clicking on links (to open the link in a new tab) can be a good habit to get into.

Sometime, even advance computer user's can land on a third-party site before realizing that they actually clicked on a link.
Advanced computer users can find themselves on a third-party site with a completely different interface and color palette without realizing they clicked on a link? What, are they clicking randomly and blindly? None of the easily clickable links on the forum are harmful, from my experience. I have also never clicked on a link before on the forum that I didn't want to.

Yes, links can take you to other sites. That's what they're there for, after all. This isn't AOL. Are you sure you know how the Internet works?

"..CTRL+Click or Mouse 3 when clicking on links..." Ok, let me clarify this since senior/leggendary member's are now replying.

I'm not talking about advert, i know everyone is free to post LINK on this forum, i mean opening in a new window when someone CLICK ON LINK instead of taking the person outside(away from) the forum

Yes, as suggested by one of the senior member, you can highlight, use right mouse & select option - open on a new windows ( this is the manual process) the automated process should be a redirection opening on a new/separate browser upon click so that member's or visitor's are NOT taking away to a different  site. Member's/visitor's can click & go to any site they like but, it's important the first page that redirected to the second & third page ... remains open in case if they wound like to return back to the first page/site.

Thanks

Read the thread again. A link has already been posted on why links no longer open on a new page. In any case if you had missed it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1447874.0

Also please stop highlighting your sentences. Cancer to the eyes

I'm surprised that it is an issue at all,I'm used to highlighting it and clicking my mouse I think it's a way to secure the site,it's very easy to do even a child can do it so get used to it from now as long as you are in this forum..
