Rio 2016 overall prediction and discussion

Well that is the end of the Rio Olympic games. It's sad to see it end but now we can all look forward to Tokyo 2020 where some new sporting events will be added. You think 4 years is a long wait but actually it comes around fast. The next Olympic games will be different though as Bolt and Phelps will most likely not be there, the 2 best Olympians in the history of the Olympic games. 

Congratulations to all the athletes and countries and more so to the USA for finishing on top of the medal tally once again.

I liked the little segway they did for Tokyo 2020.

It got me pretty excited that they will put on a better show. Also was
cool to see their president (prime minister?) have fun with it and do the
Mario thing.

Well different and new names will be born in the next olympics. Bolt really will exit the stage with good record. Phelps really received a good fight (probably his last olympic competition) against Schooling, who really deserves a win against this monster guy.

Other countries too got their first time medals which really a breakthrough that will carry to the next generation.

especially for Brazil successfully hosted the Olympics fine though there are issues which had doubted the ability of Brazil

Usain Bolt = Took gold as expected.

I lost a bit of money in the Rafa Nadal individual match since I expected him to get gold, but he got gold in the doubles spain team so it regained that.

Overall I made profit from Rio.

Nice guess and good profit congrats. I lost few bets in this Olympics. In a final football match, I thought Germany would win, but bad luck The home team won the game. And in a tennis match, i lost my bet in a mixed doubles match. Overall it is a mixup with profit and loss. I think I made tiny amount profit that's it.

GB wining the 2nd position is a surprising results. Otherwise the Olympics were pretty much as predicted. Refugee team included for first time. One of the most unhuman nation for women, Saudi at last sent some women to Olympics, Phelps lost to a Singaporean kid, First historical gold for Fiji, Vietnam, Kosovo, Tajikistan, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Jordan, Ivory Cost, Bahrain and Kuwaitian Player Who won under Olympic flag but not for Kuwait..
