In order to lower server load, may I suggest higher initial diff? 64 is way too low, I'd use 256 or more.

In order to lower server load, may I suggest higher initial diff? 64 is way too low, I'd use 256 or more.

64 is only the initial diff and it's usually ramping up pretty fast after the first 15 seconds, so that isn't a big problem.

The main load is done by the daemon itself, not the stratum here surprisingly. (mem leak ?)

on initial connect, and on a stratum disconnect, it may hang and send tons of stale shares, then the worker gets banned, rinse and repeat.
please at least 128 :-)
the daemon is heavier than usual and I think this is due to the minichain (additional work for every block received, and block time is pretty low).

I've updated it to 128, it'll be active at the next scheduled restart of the stratum (in about 5h)

And the daemon is slow because diff adjust is too smooth, hence block time can descrease sensibly for long periods of time.

NEW XCN thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801595.0

There is a lot going on with XCN right now, I hope you can reconsider keeping the pool alive.

People, please set the donation % at least to 1 into your Suprnova account, so we can help ocminer keep his wonderful pool service alive and well.

Sorry I'm having some major issues with the coin, it keeps using 100% cpu and I cannot get it to run reliably. I'd recommend switching to solo-mining for now

Go for solo mining. The coin is so old and so bad programmed in case of rpc that it's simply not working well

This coin is killing me... Never had to babysit a pool so much like XCN...

Ociminer. One question, I know that the suprnova pool does not allow the same user to connect multiple times, nor do two users have the same nickname, who is this user that appears several times mining: anonymous, because I have mined in suprnova and do not know Can use the same nickname of another person
