There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I wonder how many would be interested in a Pascal Clone that focuses on CPU-mining? I think that it is possible to clone Pascal Coin/Lite and change it so the GPU and Pool-mining is not profitable. It obviously requires some tests and experiments. But it must be possible.

I believe PASC was originally CPU only, then 3rd party GPU miners were created. Maybe I wrong.

You are right the first month or two Pascal Coin was CPU-mined. Then came GPU-miners and Pools and pushed out the poor CPU-miners. It will happen again and again unless someone find a way to keep them out or to make it less profitable when the hash rate goes up.

Yes.
PascalCoin was CPU only for 2 months (Started August 11, 2016).

The first GPU miner was developed by Vorksholk user on 9-10 October and made free for everyone after few hours

Can you confirm all deposits sent to the Poloniex are safe?

Can you briefly enlight what exactly happened there? Why deposits aren't shown properly?

Sorry. I can't answer this, I'm not Poloniex.

I have no info about issues on source code, so I don't know what could be the issue about deposits. Ask Polo.

PascalCoin is the first crypto currency without need of historical operations to control double spend and with ORDINAL account numbers. YES! LIKE A BANK!

They are holding it for a big run again, or are creating issues to panic people to sell lower so pol can buy up and orchestrate a run-up then. They do it all the time.  Grin

What happen with Suprnova?  My earnings are now nearly 30% of what they were when the pool opened. Anyone else seeing this?

possibly more hash rate, or just luck.

not only luck can play a vital role in this but your effort will lead you to a clear road  Cry :'(map.

New PascalCoin Build 1.5.5

Source code at GitHub:
https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin

Download windows installer and Linux binaries at SourceForge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin/files/

### Build 1.5.5.0 - 2017-04-11

- Corrected fee result on RPC calls as a negative number on "Change key" operations
- Corrected PASCURRENCY value to be limited as a 4 decimal digits on RPC calls
- JSON-RPC method "getaccountoperations" changed: if param "start" is -1, will include pending operations, otherwise not
- Fixed bug: On "getaccountoperations" if an account had a lot of operations (receive tx included) then sometimes app crashed when executing depth search.
  - Note: High depth search is slow because it search always starting from current state, going backwards, in order to return past balance. This can be a slow method on some account with high transactions volume.

PascalCoin is the first crypto currency without need of historical operations to control double spend and with ORDINAL account numbers. YES! LIKE A BANK!

Now it's up to you, be a seller or buyer pizza. if we only look at price movements silent now? or we do with the progress pascal coin? if someone who knows what it takes to growth pascalcoin today. promoting a very great coin to everyone. it might be?  Wink Wink

I read it before asking the question. I wanted to clarify some points. Why are there so few accounts? Developers do not count on the great popularity of the coin?

Accounts are created on the blockchain. There are five new accounts every block created. You can have a payload sub account under an exchange's account, such as Poloniex. If you mine on Nano pool they will award you an account every 20 coins you earn mining. You need to install the wallet and export your wallet's public key. Without an account the wallet cannot receive coins.

Hello everybody. Tell me please what is the maximum number of PASC coins and in what year will their number be the maximum? Smiley

Would be cool if you can read the first post instead of writing useless comments.

According to the first page
http://Https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.0
After 4 years, 42 million coins will be mined, and 2.1 million accounts for a personal wallet will be available? Did I understand correctly?
Thanks for the answer Smiley
