I've created a guide that covers most things about this coin.

https://www.pascwallet.com/Media/Guide
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

So... Cryptopia is delisting Pascal. It seems this wallet is giving ongoing problems. Can anyone put me up to date what is going on?

Join the slack channel where this is being discussed and remedied - http://www.pascalcoin.org/slack-self-invite/

FYI, the wallet is solid, it's the exchanges implementation that is causing issues.

As far as I know, Cryptopia delisted Pascal because of low volume, not because of technical issues.

pasc got quite good volume on polo: 24h_volume == 0.452 M.

so it's not an and of the world.

There are no problems with the PascalCoin Wallet. I've personally stress-tested and confirmed it is stable. Cryptopia are delisting for other reasons, more likely upset they aren't getting volume but many support requests since Polo users are withdrawing directly to Cryptopia accounts and they are unable to handle this (rather simple) workflow. I've attempted to reach out to them and offered free technical support from my software company, but they have not been responsive at all.

There are no issues with the wallet.  Polo disabled withdrawals too for a while.  Best to keep your coins in/mine directly to your local wallet.

I did not bought Pascalcoin because it is only trading at Poloniex and I don't want to send BTC there. The developers should really try to list Pascal in other exchanges.

I wonder how much volume Pascal needs to have to stay listed on Polo.

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed. 6 months ago it was traded at a higher price than now.
What would it take to make it more popular, more marketing? More exchanges?

--ypsi

Pretty much EVERYTHING traded for more, 4-6 months ago. Did you not notice the huge alt decline during the BTC rise?

Not to worry. The PASC devs are very competent and this coin has more advanced unique features no other coins have.

Buy, accumulate and HODL. That's what I'm doing since Jan-2017.

6 month ago must be around february 25. At that time the price of PASC in USD was lower that today.
