mostly sapphire and several his, all with 2250 memory
i got one xfx and it died in several days with stock rom
btw you can also look at your asic quality, if it is low, then high power rom will work better and vice versa

Yeah I've seen success with MSI on another forum.    Which ASIC is considered good and which is considered bad.  My XFX is running with SAMSUNG GDDR5 memory per GPU-Z.

Goddamn I love this driver. You need to write your own tools, but the functionality is there. That's just a small part of what I can control.

Where can I read more about how to do this?

I based a lot of my tool off of the Linux kernel source - there they have a lot of info on the formats. From 4.8rc2 on, the PowerPlay table can be changed at runtime.

I thought there is no BIOS signature verification for Windows 7. That is just new feature for the Windows 10.

There is. Anyway win7 problem is solved too. The same as in win10, but you haven't to enable IGPU or smth else.

I'm using the low enery Rom on my 8GB cards

something is up with this bios or the modded driver though, temps are fine ambient and on the cards max of 75 degrees but the hash rate will go from 28 mhs down to 10 mhs and averages around 24 mhs it obiviously can hit high hash rates but does not seem to stay there when dual mining.

Solo mining hash rates stay high.

The atikmdag.sys works on 7,8.1, 10 with no problem, file is same, even on 32 and x64 bit sistems, just use the same driver version for which the file is made

having issues dual mining with these roms both low power and the other one, not tried the boysie one though.  Solo mining they work great 30mhs stable

dual I can only get 24 mhs and 390 sia pretty much stock numbers so right now I am just solo mining Eth with the modded boxes

if someone bricks his rx480 due to wrong bios flash (not recognized, system doesn't start etc) a famous ati/amd 1+8 bios recovery works perfectly. Google for it.

btw I figured out the why I was getting such a low hash rate dual mining, this ROM is so efficient you have to set a powerlimit of +10 or +20 in claymore or via wattman to force the cards to pull more juice
I was using around 3.5 (17 amps at meter then when mining 19amps sometimes 20 is how I got this number)  amps for six cards to mine. 

With the powerlimit set +20 and I see a solid 4 amps maybe sliggtly more for six cards which is still fine since I'm getting the following results :

175 or so eth and 2k SC  , solo eth was 181 eth and 3.5 amps so its a bit better to lose 6 or so eth to gain 2000 SC or DCR.

What I did find is these cards will take as much juice as you can give them so be careful I saw rates as high as 490 SC and 28 Eth

I forgot to turn off digitally signed drivers. Now it works.

But how to run a 480 with 380? After substitution atikmdag.sis file does not load windows.
