It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

10 cards? You might need a server board, never build a miner though, so i can't recommend any.

Or you could (if you want) use two or three normal boards.

Realistically, you'll need AT LEAST 2 motherboards - you'll pay a LOT less splitting it into 2 rigs than trying to put all of those cards on one rig.
You're going to NEED 2 power supplies as well to handle THAT many 280x.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Hi,

You may consider buying this set x2 :

- MOBO : H81 Pro BTC (handles 6 GPUs)
- CPU : Intel G1840
- RAM : any 8g stick
- cheapest SSD you can find with 32g
- 1 lepa 1600W that can handle 4 gpu and another 700-800W for the 2 left

Buy 2 more R9 and you should get 2 6xGPU rigs for yourself, great start indeed Wink

tis is pretty solid advice. however the H81 is tough to find. the H97 anniversary is equally good and available everywhere for ~$100.
the ssd is good, but you could use an HDD as well if you have one around or can find a small one for cheaper than the ssd
1600W power supplies are often very expensive. you might get a better price with 2x 1200W   OR IF MINING ETHEREUM YOU ONLY NEED ~120w/280x and a single 1000W PSU could suffice because it has lower power draw from the cards

don't buy a lepa 1600 watt psu it is multi rail and needs to be setup correctly or it will have issues.

get a evga 1300 g2  psu

should be enough juice for you if you mine ETH  with a small downclock.

it is single rail  has 6 pcie cables
