Ridiculous... The moments when rates were on a rollecoaster mode "15 -> 19 -> 14 -> 20 ->16 etc", I was not allowed to sell or buy...

Sure, it can be a problem with the SQL server, but you could see some selling 10s and 100s of bitcoins at the time, only to buy them back cheaper 10 seconds later!

Ridiculous... cashing out from Mt Gox and moving to another exchange site...

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Maybe the price will stop the wild swings and hold its decline. This may create more confidence in the market.

Mt. Gox is by far the largest market. What else would you use at this point?

"Too many connections" is the error I'm getting now.  With the amount of money MtGox is taking in on a daily basis, they could at least spring for a good IT admin staff.

It's great to see demand for bitcoins growing and overwhelming the available infrastructure. That means higher prices ahead and more business opportunities that need to be created.

OK, am moving assets to Tradehill as well. Better to diversify in case one market is down. (And take advantage of arbitrage opportunities).

Anyhow, since i just signed up, i'm only allowed at this newbie section. First hello to all.
And yes mtgox is down for trading pnce again. They seem to have a mysql problem, and for the second time this 24 hours trading is impossible.
It kind of sucks because the market is very volatile today.
Anyhow, hope it get's back up, and maybe i'll try tradehill later today, the longer mtgox stays down, the better it seems to me to see people move to other exchanges, which could lead to real competition in that market as well.

I will move to Tradehill if they accept LR. I don't have a USA bank account to verify Dwolla. Huh
