I can agree with you on that right now that bitcoin is not having a serious and comparable competition, but it can be caused by its popularity and spreading around the world and we can just miss the potential coin.

Couldn't agree less the technology behind Bitcoin is really cool and the Devs never stops working to keep Bitcoin at the epoch in the cryptospace, currently Bitcoin has no competitor although can't say for the future because a lot of project are coming up everyday and some of them are very good innovations.

We all know that in recent years, the market value of bitcoin has been decreasing, but the price of bitcoin has been rising. I don't think bitcoin has strong competitors in the short term. If lightning network is implemented, bitcoin will be more powerful.

There is no coin that don't have any competitors. Even you are the brightest coin you will definitely have a competitor. Bitcoin is the number coin in crypto, and of course there will be a lot of new coins that will be known on market. Others maybe right and maybe wrong, for me if the bitcoin value will never go down as usual it means there is no competition ahead on bitcoin and the market will be stable on the price of bitcoin and can even more higher. So that is why stop thinking that bitcoin has no competition in their way, all of other coins in crypto has their own competitors. But it is their unique way on how they win against them.

Gold is a Bitcoin search and Bitcoin prices will not have the same value as Gold because Bitcoin is just a digital asset instead of an investment.

All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.
Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.
Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.
Bitcoin is still the best crypto coin. The fact that change is constant, we cannot say that bitcoin will still be the best in the future. But eventhough, bitcoin is the first crypto coin and helps a lot of people. |

Hi, I just got a 10% market share of Bitcoin. That is when they are not forking everywhere. Once that piece grows, and really is no different from any gadget, the speculation will go away. There is no reason Doge can not do as well. a job, but it's time people have to deal with what they're going to reward for, otherwise all will become dust. These altcoins are not created as bitcoin upgrades or crypocurrency innovations. News altcoin may be able to advance more in the field of engineering - currently, because bitcoin can be upgraded. Bitcoin is created and worthless, people notice potential and make it valuable. Altcoins are created because their developers want to cut corners and make money fast.

Yeah bitcoin has no competition even those crypto in the market are just an altcoin to bitcoin. I do not know if there could be a coin that will express its independently and will be able to do what bitcoin has now. For sure they can't win over bitcoin because bitcoin is already establish and no way that other crypto will compete on it as it will make conflict on cryptocurrency and eventually it could die.
