All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

Bitcoin is really no competition. It is more of a business that needs partnerships with other people in order to lift up each other towards the top and be successful. Anyone alone can't use and make bitcoin work alone, it needs to be with everyone who has the knowledge to do so.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I am not using any other crypto currency at the moment, but I don't think any of them will ever overtake bitcoin. Its the standard of all, its like money now, do you see money competing with anything else? I really don't see that. So I feel bitcoin will hold it own in the market and would probably keep growing.

I think there's many coins to choose to but bitcoin is different. No one can compete and surpass btc.It keeps on growing and moving everyday.

For the next 5 years maybe bitcoin will be dominate the crypto world however Ethereum is also growing very fast and may compete with bitcoin in future. As we can see that there are many rising competitors out there.

I feel that Bitcoin does not have a strong competitor to match this Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is the first in digital currency. And Bitcoin also has a place in some of today's great countries to use.

It is certainly very good that bitcoin is alive and constantly growing! the bikkin will live forever! but we must understand that while there are no competitors at bitcoin, we will sit and watch its growth or its fall, because the entire crypto market depends on it! I want to see a few coins appear soon that could compete with him!

I am still confused with this technology, bitcoin is said to be the financial future. but what happens is bitcoin to turn a person's life into a rich one every year. I also feel that bitcoin value is the only thing trusted by the community, the cyrptocurrency community consensus on the future of bitcoin. this makes the bitcoin uncoupled with atlcoin. I also believe that the future of bitcoin will not stop at the problem of scalability, because this technology will always evolve.

It is already obvious that bitcoin has very weak prospects to become a world currency. Unfortunately, it has too many flaws and people are no longer interested in bitcoin.

Hmm, but i think bitcoin have to compete with other altcoins because there are many altcoins exist now.
for example ETH. ETH position in the market is below bitcoin directly. Although the marketcap of ETH is far from bitcoin,
the users of ETH are already massive.

I fully agree with you that Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years. And now, in a falling market, it's time to buy bitcoin at a low price.

Bitcoin has no competition in the crypto currencies world, that's right.  Bitcoin has proven could last for years now and the value has pretty nice increasing every year.

no other cyrptocurrency currency can compete with bitcoin. Because bitcoin leads above the market. It became the most widely used digital currency in the world and became popular. It may but still vary in the future development of what developers will do to increase bitcoin.

Yes, bitcoin does not have the same competition to support each other to grow together, it can have things to make the market become more exciting as well as increase the attractiveness of the digital market.

Ofcourse bitcoin does not have any real competition, it have gained major popularity and guess what, ppl dont seem to trust easy to new coins, ppl dont easily give their trust anything thats related to money its just how the world is. But maybe in incoming years btc will meet some real competition, you cant never know for sure...

I agree with you on this. Bitcoin is getting strong as people are believing on it. The only problem though is that bitcoin usage maybe is getting less and that people are losing a bit of confidence after they have experienced losses probably due to panic selling brought about by FUDs and other government interventions.

somebody once disclosed to me how bitcoin could forestall to be surpassed by another coin. in his situation bitcoin had the greatest hashing power and could decimate another coin with a basic 51% assault. I trusted that at that point and figured no coin could defeat bitcoin. well since mining bitcoin is finished by uncommon digging hardware useful for bitcoin this contention is invalid. appears to me that bitcoin must be the better coin, which is perhaps only an issue of time until the point when some better coin goes along. a second huge point for bitcoin is, that it was there from the earliest starting point, which is an or more. the reality of the situation will become obvious eventually.

All coins that exist are trying to compete bitcoin. I expect bitcoin to rule the crypto currency market for at least another five years, like it does at the moment.

I think any crypto available in the market today is a threat to bitcoin  eventhough they are far behind in almost all aspect but still we should respect considering its capability because we don't really know what happen in the near future.

Other coins can replace bitcoins but it is going to take a lot of time. If we talk only about returns, some coins already give better returns.

No one coin will be next bitcoin. Another new cryptocurrency is alternate currency.

Someone make a fork of bitcoin and say "The next of bitcoin".
Bitcoin is always bitcoin.
