I do still wonder what this "NDA" stuff was for to start with and now suddenly, there are no NDA's for other exchanges and everyone are free to list? Why didn't you or someone else from the team come forward with this information earlier? Im 90% sure that I saw you saying before that more exchanges were planned, what happened with that? I know you are not the exchange but you had a NDA for some weird reason. This looks more scummy by the day. So now no NDA ... is just the big bad exchanges that just don't fucking want to add the token ... but they are adding all kind of shit coins day one. These guys really must think everyone is retarded ! I do wander what the fuck did you guys really gain from this manipulation? Because most of you don't have a brain to put two and two together, let's make it as simple as possible.
This might or might not be true (take with grain of salt) but Im fairly sure these are the reasons:
(Liqui I won't even talk about because they are nobodies)
1) Kraken insta-listed because Iconomi will be using them as their liquidity provider (for the main tokens/coins BTC most probably), so a deal might be in place hense the NDA, they have stated that there will be no order books when entering and exit positions in the OFM for your investors so these will be executed through a backend system connected to ICONOMI to/from exchanges.
2) That ofcourse leaves a few coins/tokens (looking at ICNX additions/removals DGD,Steem, etc etc which might be available for OFM later on) on another exchange (for liquidity reasons) that aren't listed. So we are left with 2 altcoin exchanges Poloniex and Bittrex as ICNX/OFM rebalancing/purchasing/liquidating needs to be done outside Kraken (non listed coins) .. My guess is they have a special deal (NDA) for lower / no fees / market making with one of the two.
TLDR: For addition of other coins into ICNX/OFM they need someone that provides a bigger variety of coins. Poloniex has the biggest volume on most alts (so slippage is minimal) vs Bittrex, it's either one or the other and the news will probably hit us on ICNX/INCP for a new exchange or will be kept under wraps until OFM launches.
So keep calm and Iconomi on...
Very nice post. I'd like to add this: Iconomi is all about connecting traditional economy with crypto. It means that the flow of money is fiat---->crypto Having Kraken at the front is perfect implementation of that strategy, while Polo adds very little to it. Polo is good for pumping alt/shit coins, and it was clear from Day1 that Iconomi team is not into that AT ALL. I still think it is better to have slow and balanced grow aligned with the actual product achievements than polo steroids for short time which have nothing real behind it. You know why? Because once the platform will reach maturity, the price jump will be stronger than anything that polo can generate now. Or comparing it to a guy that goes to the gym: All polo cry babies are like the dudes that just want to pump their arms fast for the summer time. They achieve that by filling the arm with liquids and not with muscle tissue. On the other hand we have this guy that wants to have a strong and balanced body, and for that he needs to work hard over long period of time. Sure that after 2 months he won't have the big arms like the first one, but guess who will kick ass after 1-2 years? edit: spelling |

Every second day, we hear buy wall has reached -- , now the price will rise to the moon. And icn / btc rate isn't affected much after that. The real pump would happen when it's trade volume increases. With such a low daily trading volume, each trade is affecting the price of icn. Hopefully, when dividends come, icn volume will increase. Eventually many more exchanges would list icn. Then we can see the real journey of icn to moon. |

The largest trading volume of top 10 cryptos by MarketCap is on Poloniex, not Kraken (Ethereum, Monero, Dash, Maid, Augur, Steem, Nem...) Are you suggesting these are all pump & dump shitcoins? |
