Bitcoin down to 500?

Price may not drop so low in future if no any thing like bitfinex hack will happen in future. But if price continue to grow over 1000 usd than even on such events price will not go below $500 for sure.

Yes, of course there is possibility that Bitcoin will rise up to $10k , but at this moment, more possible is that his price will go down to $500 .. Not saying that $10k is impossible, but in economic situation like we can observe now, $500 is just more possible. Of course it is just my subjective opinion..

After struggling around 550 $, we finally break 600 $ mark, and seems like btc is going back where it was. I think now we are going up, and this trend will continue until the end of this year. I'm watching graphics for last 4 years, and btc price movement is very similar with movement from 4 years ago, after halving little drop, and then to all times top. Can we see that same movement again? I'm not sure, but with btc almost anything is possible. I will not be surprised if we see new price record for couple months from now.

Thats the thing  i observed too when  im looking at the chart of bitcoins price movement from past years and  i could  somehow  compare it as of todays bitcoins path which have simmilar pattern or  just a coincidence. As you said   everything  in bitcoin  is possible lets  just wait and witness what would be the trend  in  upcoming  months or years to come.

Doubtful that Bitcoin is going to go down to $500, probably we'll sit around $600 +/- $10-$15 before something happens with the news and the market swings one way or the other.

The market is hungry for a reason to invest or bail out, and I think a lot are looking for the former. There is likely little upwards energy left, but the right news might revitalize the market.

Unless another big company gets hacked, Bitcoin would stay higher than 500$. The Bitfinex hack made the price of Bitcoin much lesser than it was. I'm pretty sure if another exchange website gets hacked, Bitcoin would go down again. The price dump is depending on how many Bitcoins that the hackers get from the hack. But if none of that would happen, we will not touch Bitcoin down to 500$ again.

I can not predict the price of bitcoin because prices always fluctuate would be very difficult to predict. If bitcoin continue to develop, bitcoin will not be lower than $ 500. But if bitcoin decline is likely to decline to the very large price.

Correct, hoping  for bitcoin to go down would  be tough do since there are lots of investors  are hoping for bitcoin to rise its price but   some may wait also for bitcoin price to go down so that they would able to  buy  again for cheaper price.

your hoping for a particular price should also be based on your studying of the market and the orderbooks.

you should check the resistances, the supports and see how many investors are actually buying or selling bitcoin. for this case there is a lot of resistance around $600 and even breaking that needs much work and then going down to $500 needs another huge exchange to get hacked.

Probably at most ~$500-550 but I agree with that, a dip to sub-$500 levels is pretty much one the worst case scenarios.

i think it's not crashing it's just fluctuating like you said, a crash is something else, like 50% of the original value, not 5% lol, right now bitcoin is very stable i'm taking the opportunity to buy more cheap coin

I wouldn't call a 10% drop in price a crash yet. What words would you use if the price falls 70% or 80%, like from Mt. Gox top?
Bitcoin is a very volatile asset, and that means that 10% swings on a short term are included in this game and are something normal, without much story behind it. But crash in Bitcoin is something definitely different.

What miners want may have very little to do with the price of Bitcoin. After last halving 75% of all coins is already mined and may be used to push the price lower if the whales wish to do so.

i don't think that bitcoin down until $500 because its really hard to get that rate but no one can knows if it can happen or not, better hope that the rate will not go down too far from $595.

Going down from $600 to $500 is just 16.6% down. That is very little in terms of Bitcoin. I know that it may seem much, but taking into account the volatility of Bitcoin it is not that unexpected. Bitcoin has seen huge drops and rises, and one have to be able to live with that to play this game.
