I'm not sure about this but I guess Paxful is to buy Bitcoin using gift cards and not buying gift cards using Bitcoin. Both websites are peer to peer which means you are trading with individuals and not with the company (which could give you a risk of getting scammed)

I have couple of suggestions :

1. Buy from high trusted Bitcointalk users (Make [WTB] thread in the Digital goods)
2. Buy from Gyft.com ( AFAIK , they have all the gift cards you mentioned)

Paxful does have a section for selling your bitcoins for giftcards, but sometimes when people are highly rated they are rated a multiple times by the same person, I'll try your suggestions too, thanks!

If anyone has any other experience with these sites, please do tell them Smiley

First of i recommend you to use lbc for any purpose, stay away from paxful because there are some scam accusations against them and if you sums up all accusation they are "They scam their customer itself and when they open a scam accusation they says that you are not using 2FA"

here are some thread you should go and read them before going to use their site.

1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1438179.0
2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1471745.0
3. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1362884.0

It is also listed in "[EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites" : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326821.0

Haven't had a problem with Paxful since:

1) I am an honest trader and moderators will easily see how I traded before.
Yes, I am a one-trick trader which makes it easy for them to determine I am telling the truth.

2)moderators are on 24/7.

3)They have tutorials on youtube and support actually gives useful advice.

4) I don't panic.

I have steered away from Localbitcoins when I saw this:

sorry to hear that. I haven't experience that kind of issues with them. With my experience with Paxful, all of my trades went well.
