Hi. I'm interested in BTC as an economic curiosity. I have accounts at tradehill and mtgox. I have Sierra Charts running with both exchanges active. As you can see, I post in complete sentences. Please whitelist me.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Hi Atlas,

Could I be considered for whitelisting? I don't have an immediate need, but I've been on the forums for almost a month and I believe I've behaved myself (probably moreso than some of the longer members - http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=20139.msg252003#msg252003) and been helpful. I'm just not a prolific poster (spammer?) to get myself past that 50 posts lower limit!

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=4984.msg203454#msg203454

I even started my own threads once upon-a-time:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=13741.msg187637#msg187637

Thanks in advance!

Could I be considered for whitelisting.....

Hmm, perhaps ignore this request. I seem to have my "New Topic" button back again in other forums and this post (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=15958.0) seems to say the limit is not 4 hours / 5 posts.

Not sure what the limit is for new topics, but I seem to have got that back.

Either that or Atlas is *really* quick at approvals!

Hi, I would like to post on the mining forums to ask questions about a mining problem I am having. As for my cred, I have been running 980mh/s for the past week and a half. I split it between slush's pool and double c's namecoin pool.

I use guiminer with poclbm, but have tried phoenix. I overclock my cards, and pull 750mh/s out of my two 6950s with locked shaders.

I'm a regular in IRC - under the same name as my forum account.

Just trying to ask a few questions about the 6950s, and catalyst 11.6 in the appropriate forums.

I just wanted to share some Information for the folks that may have been hacked at MtGox. With their new account status tool you can see the last logins but if you have a provider with dynamic IPs its hard to tell which IP belongs to you and which might be a Hacker. I found this site: http://www.checksitetraffic.com/ip_address/ where you can see Information about every IP and whether it belongs to the IP-Range of your provider. This should calm down some of the guys fearing their account been hacked.

Hey all,  I just registered to post here since I saw the same "prolexic" IPs on my mtgox acct.  Please consider my request to be let out of noob jail.

Do I know more about bitcoin than others here?  Well, that's a pretty high bar.  I have a mining rig (2x5870) and have been trading on MtGox since the beginning of May.  I understand the block chain in concept.

I'm actually planning on doing a lot of trades. One of the my future traders would want me to leave feedback for him, so before I can initiate the trade, I must be allowed outside of the newbie forum.

This was a PM, blocked out his username for privacy.
I do, but as i was looking for some people to leave me some reviews and stuff, id really like people to be able to post and leave thier positive experiences, hence the low price. So until u can post on the main forums i dont think id be able to, unless u had another screen name

Thanks for reading,

~bluefirecorp

Hi,

I've been registered here since some weeks now and read about mining hardware with great interest. I decided to invest something into new hardware with a friend so we bough two mining rigs with 4 5830 cards each. I've been able to optimize the outcome quite a bit already but I'd like to see if there is more I can do - but therefore it would be a lot easier to take part in the discussion rather than reading only Smiley

Here are some interesting pics of our setup Wink

(One card is still missing because we can't figure out how to properly connect it to the PSU in order to prevent immediate cable burn O.o We had to buy two different PSU models and one just doesn't have enough connectors.)

Best regards from germany!

Please free me from my newbie prison.  I've been a member for two weeks, I lurk lots and post little.  I've been an active member of BTCMine for over a month, and use bitmarkets.eu as an exchange.

Id like to be whitelisted as well.

Ive been following Bitcoin for a few months now and I recently set up a mining rig running on poclbm on BTCguild. Ive also become interested in buying and selling bitcoin on BitMarket.eu.

My usernames on all these sites is mrmeowmix2300.

I also have an ebay account with 100% positive feedback (PM me for more detail or proof).

Finally, Im also trying to get invited to Bitcoin Market to check out what they have to offer.

Thanks!

I really need to get into the project development forum so I can recruit some writers for my new website. I don't think the newbie forum is the place to pick up experienced writers!  Cheesy
Thank you.
