Hello,

I'd like to get access to the mining/pools forum because I just begin mining in a new pool and I'd like to post questions (nooooooooooo not newbies questions Smiley ) on the pool thread.

May I, may I, may I ?? Wink

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Hello

I would like to contact with user rearwheels because I spot a little bug in www.btc-poolwatch.com

Please whitelist me or send him this message:

Quote
There is a small bug in "Your Total Hashrate", it's related with Slush poll JSON API.
When worker hash rate exceed over 1000MH/s it isn't count to "Your Total Hashrate".
Worker hash rate look like this: 1,000.00MH/s, so I think that the reason of this bug is coma after thousand.

Hello,

I'd like to be whitelisted. I've been lurking for a two months now and have done my reading.

I have a couple of ideas to offer to the community, on the practical side of bitcoin; regarding commidity and services. I'm not a school-of-economic-thought zealot or anything like that.

No worries regardless. I can wait and bump around the cage for awhile. Its not anything revolutionary or immediate.

Thanks!

I'd like to be whitelisted.

I have been reading the forum for a few weeks and I also recently switched to a new pool.  I'd like to be able to communicate with the pool owner and members through this forum but I don't want to make 5 "useless" posts in the newbies forum.

Thank you!

Would appreciate the option to post in other boards. This is my third post, but I was hoping to post a CSV parser shell script into this topic, as well as post feedback when a vinyl record from said topic arrives.

Thanks,

I'd like to be whitelisted. I've been mining on LinuxCoin 0.2a with my 5770s for a while at around 400Mhash/s. I'm trying to switch to 0.2.1b, and I've run into a problem nobody on the newbie section can help me with. I'd like to post my problem in the LinuxCoin thread to see if I can get some help there.
Thanks,
-murky44

I run ozco.in and can verify that welvis is a forum moderator on ozco.in and would like him to be able to help me support ozco.in's official pool forum thread on these forums.
Thanks

Hi,

Since I got whitelisted out of this forum, it's just as well to ask this question here.  I'd like to permanently delete my account from this forum, but can't find a link to do it anywhere.  I've become thoroughly disillusioned with the Bitcoin project and would like to completely disassociate myself from it.

Thanks

Hello,

I also would like to be added to the whitelist so that I may PM a person selling in the Goods section before he sells the item I'm interested in to someone else. I promise I'll behave myself and abide by the forum rules Smiley

I've been lurking the bitcoin.org forums since the 26th of last month, but I never thought to register an account until now, as I was mostly just using the board to educate myself.

I run the Phoenix GPU core on my 5770 ~220Mhash/s thanks to some manipulation of clocks and flags.

Hello, i'd like to be whitelisted.
I'm on this forum from early June, mined some BTC with my crappy HD4730 (running at 680 mem/820 core @ 80 C), and worked out BEST setting for that card -
poclbm -w64 -f20(this makes desktop responsive enough). And without vectors, they decrease perfomance very bad. @ my setting, i get 80.5 Mhash/s stable, using ATI Stream 2.3, and GUI Miner.
Now it's time to act here Smiley

Hi!

I'd like to be whitelisted. I've been lurking here for a while and I'd like to contribute things like my wallet-backup-cron-script (https://github.com/hreese/Bitcoin-Wallet-Backup), details of my hardware and thelike.

Cheers,

I want to post this thread about Article 1 of the United States constitution regarding section 8

"To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;

To provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States;"

This is a political topic unfit for the general newbie forum, please whitelist me.

I want to believe this newbie-forum only rule has been instated for good reason, I have my doubts, but perhaps I am a statistical outlier with my desire to post meaningful threads about the compliance of bitcoins in important jurisdictions

The US Constitution, a writ of mandates and prohibitions on the behaviors of the office holders, is above all fiction.  Marc Stevens covers it very well in his Adventures in Legal Land and his No State Project.

Joke:  A little boy, an attorney and a judge were walking one day and they saw a five dollar bill on the sidewalk; who got it?  The little boy of course because attorneys and judges are fictions of law.  But then so too are five dollar bills . . .
