Oh, so 5 posts, not 50... that's good news.

Thank you

I hope this post is Sticky.  I think it is.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

So THAT'S where people got the idea that it was 50 posts... I've now edited that sticky to reflect the changes we've made since then.

Any chance I can get out of here.  I just got a Bitcoin Tattoo and want to post in the thread in the main forums.

Thanks

I'd like to be whitelisted, please. Also, the portuguese board doesn't have limitations regarding "Newbies" as the rest of the forum seems to have.

I've been reading the forum for a while now, but registered earlier today so that I could reply to a topic I wanted to post in. Now that I have the required time and posts like other users to get out of the newbie section, I request that a moderator please change my account so that I can throw my two cents into a couple of topics I'm dying to post in.  Grin

I would like to get whitelisted, the posts are OK, but the 4hour wait is so long.  Embarrassed

You can check my posts to see that I'm not a troll.

Please set me on the whitelist.
I would like to discuss about some bitcoin websites. Like bitcoin7.com and forbitcoins.com.

I just want to join discussions really!  I keep forgetting I'm not in the newbie forum and then cannot express my opinions Sad

Reading this thread (no... not all 46 pages [in a month?!?!]) has been amusing...

No, I am not asking for whitelisting.  I won't have much to say until I've read a great deal more.  Hello, though (oh wait... wrong thread).

Please let me out.  I believe I have the appropriate number of posts, and have waited the 4 hours.  However, I am still locked.  Please help.

I would like to be white-listed please. I am the developer of a small Bitcoin related site (http://realcoin.net) an I would like to be able to post about it in the projects forum.

Thanks

Hi, I would like to get out of here too... Ok, 4 of my posts got deleted in the "newbee" section,... but since there are these stupid rules, they made me post 4 times nonsense... I thought that's the easiest way to get that 5 post, wait 4 hours and THEN I could post my question in the miner-pool-post related to the pool I'm mining at for ca. 2 days....
In the meantime I answered the question myself,... and now I want to post the code for the munin-plugin I wrote for the pool I'm mining at..... that's my story...

and I think trolls come with free speech and that's something u have to live with in a forum (or democracy ;o),... the better way would be just deleting the post and banning the trolls instead of accusing every new user to be a troll,... that's like a state where the government accuses every citizen to be a criminal and therefor logging all the data of the citizens,.. ou  wait! It's like germany,.. or france.. I don't know exactly how it is in china,... or usa... well, that's another story... sorry for the long txt,.. u can delete it if u want to, or ban me, hang me,.. or shoot my in the head with an AK47...  u could also let me post useful things, where they belong to.

I'd love to get out of here. I wanted to do a trade and can't pm or post. I'm a newb to bitcoin but have made successful trades for poker$ on 2+2, not a scammer and willing to pay a vig in order to build my rep here starting out.

I'm trying to help developing bitcoin software but I've stuck here, in the limbo.
Just wrote a script for importing/exporting keys https://github.com/joric/pywallet.
Please let me outta here, I want to talk with developers on the forum Smiley

I'm really quite interested in putting my OpenCL skill to the test as part of the Bitcoin community. Putting in 4 hours here first doesn't seem like a big deal, but the timer on my account only seems to move if I am actively posting. I'd rather not flood newbie land with posts simply for the sake of posting if it can be avoided. Thanks.

Hey there,

I'd to provide some feedback to Diablo about the DiabloMiner, and it really belongs in the appropriate thread, so I'd like to post it there.

Specifically, I plan to post this log output:
