     Hey guys,
I'm newbie member so I don't have good info about minig so if you are pro in this process can you help me with some guides and tips.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You need free electricity and the best ASIC you can afford plus a power supply (ATX usually) of suitable rating to run the ASIC. Then set it up to run on a pool (see the pool section of the forum) and then leave it running. You'll need a BTC wallet for your earnings.

Ok, some questions:
     1-What's ASIC?
2-Do I need to pay to start minig?

Honestly its not good for newbie but if you want to mine it needs money because you need to buy a asic miner like bitminer s9 check it here https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=0002016052907243375530DcJIoK0654
it needs a lot of capital before you can start mining..
But there is alternative that you can mine and earn.. mining altcoin. check altcoins here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0
I hope it helps.

Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). Basically a chip that does one job. Most people use Antminers (by Bitmain) as they are the only ones in the business really. You want something in the Terrahash range of processing power. Anything smaller and it's not worth it. Look on eBay and you will find them or the marketplace on the forum.

You don't need to pay for mining on a Pool although pools take a fee from every block found to support running costs.

Google and YouTube are your friends. There's too much to explain.

You can mine by yourself using Ck solo pool (check the pools section) you will get the whole block minus 1%fee. But it's extremely unlikely you will get one.

You can set up your own pool but that's a lot more involved as you need a blockchain node to run it.

Not with Bitcoin. GPU mining an alt-coin as already said.

You can rent miners if you cant afford one to buy. But just an answer and its not actually advisable because it takes time to get your roi back due to some difficulty.

the only thing you can mining without ASIC is mining with cloud mining but be careful because nowadays many cloud mining that ready to scam you, the only trusted is hashnest with their bitmain support. they have real hardware for mining, but for now, i think the price for 1 ghs is low and still getting low because they want to launch their s9 but i don't know when its launch.

     Hey guys,
I'm newbie member so I don't have good info about minig so if you are pro in this process can you help me with some guides and tips.

For now, mining bitcoin is not profitable anymore because of it's price that is too low that's why miners stop on mining bitcoin based on what I've read on the articles about bitcoin mining. It's not worth it to mine right now. You will just gonna waste your time and energy on doing it. About your second question, ASIC is a computer hardware that is used in mining bitcoin, basically it can be use not only in one purpose. When you have two ASICs you can mine bitcoin and litecoin at the same time.
