Sucks that you can't post anywhere but i can see why it is necessary.
Be very wary of relying on JavaScript for security on crypto sites. The site can change the JavaScript at any time unless you take unusual precautions, and browsers are not generally known for their airtight security.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

I'm glad to see a forum take control like that. I wish other forums would follow suit. 4 hours is more than most trolls and spammers would spend.

But sensible.

Definitely annoying. Must have been really bad with sock puppets and other riff raff. Not really sure of an other way to deal with the problem though.

I think that's fair. It keeps things clean and prevents people from posting just for the sake of taking up space. Now I just have to spend some time hanging out and learning how all of this stuff works.
