Well, here's my answer. I like to gamble sometimes and this gives me some joy, not from the occasianal winnings but from the process in whole. What do I gain? Not money, that's for sure, but I do gain a kind of refreshment and I'm good with it.

In most cases, gambling will not help you with your life. It mostly leads to addiction and losing your money at the same time. People should realize that gambling can only give you a short time instant pleasure. The excitement that you can get from gambling can give you some happiness especially whenever you get lucky in a bet. It can distract you from your problems in real life, but at the end of the day, all of those pleasure and satisfaction are just temporary.

it all depends on how you are gambling. and how impressionable you are!

for many people gambling is just a game to have some fun and take some financial risks with their money so maybe win something or maybe not. this way you can only get the enjoyment of the game.

but for many others, gambling is like an addiction and they can not shake it. they think they can become rich with gambling but the only thing they do is losing money because of not thinking straight. these people get their lives ruined.

gambling have a different effect in different kind of the peoples, because everyone play gambling in his own style, and the result give us the effect of our life.
In my opinion about gambling help us in our life. Sometime when i win a good amount, it make my life easy and sometime it become sad my life when i lost my amount in gambling.

In my own experience, my life in relation to gambling has been neutral in the sense that it has neither help me gain more money and change my life style neither has it decrease my standard of living as a result of my loss to gambling sites. So either way and Im smarter and  standing...

i think you are expecting some unreal stuff out of gambling.
it is just a game for entertainment in my opinion and if you have fun playing it then that is how it can help you with your life, nothing more.

although sometimes winning the jackpots can be pretty cool especially if the amount is high but that happens so rarely.

Its helped me because I bet less now. For some reason when I was playing
with Fiat I was betting $100 or more per game. Now with bitcoin I'm betting my
bitcoin I only bet .02-.05 per bet and even though its 15-40 bucks only it still
makes it exciting to have the bet without betting higher amounts.
