Everyone know that US is most country accepted bitcoin in major area and companies and the number of company accepted bitcoin are growing daily
But that not much article or post clear out how is popuplar of bitcoin in your country
This topic let sharing to us about users using bitcoin in your country
- What they normaly do with bitcoin in your country ?
- Do you think your country will replace US for number of bitcoin users in near future ?

you are right. in fact, in china many people not aware about bitcoin but they still join investing in bitcoin. then i thinking : money making opportunities also important role |

I live in Singapore and I believe that Bitcoin is somewhat popular in my country.
1. There is a few Singapore based Bitcoin company - BitX (not Bit-x) and CoinHako.
2. There is a physical Bitcoin forum held during the Bitcoin 2014 bubble - shown on the Channel NewsAsia , the main local channel for news.
3. Singaporean is tech-savvy - at least from my perspective.
However , I have only seen a few physical shop accept Bitcoin in Singapore. I do hope and believe that the popularity of Bitcoin will continue to grow here.
And as for your two main questions:
- What they normaly do with bitcoin in your country ?
I believe the people in Singapore bought Bitcoin as a form of investment. Long term investment to be specific.
- Do you think your country will replace US for number of bitcoin users in near future ?
It seem impossible. Singapore is the second smallest country in Asia with only 5.399 million people (2013) compared to US 316.5 million.

I think that Bitcoin is pretty infamous in my country and only a really low percentage of people know about Bitcoin and even lower percentage of people who use it. The most people that know about it are in the Capital city, and there are really small groups of people even there. I just have a Bitcoin ATM in the capital city.

Many people are aware about bitcoins in my country but the fact is very few of them are using it but in future may be many more people will join the ride if they are introduced to bitcoin in right way.

Bitcoin isn`t very popular in my country. People here aren`t very tech friendly and don`t believe in digital currencies. This will change in the future ,i guess. |

Many thank for your useful information. It seem your country almost similar with china where investor more than real users. As i know many fintech company focus on Singapore now to startup business in there as a Hub. our company also had much customers from singapore and from our data we can see they still prefer withdraw bitcoin to cash rather than using for shopping. |

We have a lot of local pubs accepting Bitcoin and some fast food merchants. They even have some parking attendants accepting Bitcoin now. I use my bitcoins online, so the local merchants do not get the majority of my bitcoins. I have travelled some countries and I have picked up on the very same thing. Certain areas have a high concentration of merchants in a small area and I think this has something to do with one merchant accepting it, and then people around it, cashing in on the opportunity to make more sales.  |

Nowadays bitcoin is not that popular as the other country has, Only few citizens know about bitcoin, if I'm going to average is its only 3-5% so far is the bitcoin enthusiast right now. And most of the bitcoiner here they do trading in bitcoin. |

Talking about my country: Nepal, it is very hard to find next guy who is also doing crypto trading or hold bitcoin. However lots of new people are getting interested in bitcoin actually to use as payment processor as well as to store wealth to grab opportunity when price pumps. I am also trying to make a bitcoin community and also looking how i can make other able to easily buy/sell bitcoin but foreign currency rule here is very strict and confusing.

Agreed! Many of the countries nowadays that Bitcoins is infamous is not that well known yet in different places. And usually bitcoin has being made in small gathering and educate the participants who is willing learn what bitcoin is all about. |

Some data/fact that i know in my country (Indonesia) : 1. There's few exchange, but only 1 which widely known in Indonesia (bitcoin.co.id). But, this exchange active promote bitcoin and they also have some office that customer can visit for customer service. 2. There's some bitcoin community, especially in big cities and very few bitcoin conference/activities. 3. More and more people learn about bitcoin, especially because they're looking for online jobs/work There's only few psychical shops and some online shops in Indonesia, but bitcoin.co.id have services which index all available shops in Indonesia. Mostly it's in Bali though. Too bad, most users only look bitcoin as investment or way to earn extra money  Thank for share with us about your country i can see bitcoin.co.id is very well known here. but from our data show out the number user register with us increasing daily. that mean still much potential for bitcoin user in there. Also from our local forum. many people post daily that is proof of growing bitcoin users in your country |

My country although being a big one in term of population and surface it still much far behind in bitcoin acceptance. People here are not that user friendly toward new technology and new money in this case. However its a good thing that some of the most trusted exchangers and with some really high volume in this forum are from my country. Having said that in my country less than 1% of full population is a user and holder of bitcoin which is a very small amount of users compared to the total population.

It's somewhat known, between the people who are in IT and guys between ages from 18-30. Many people have heard of them but don't care that much. In Serbia, bitcain has yet to gets its impact.

pretty much bitcoin population in my country, it is evident in some social media group with many member, sometimes I also do not think, when many users in my city. in my country there is only one place selling bitcoin which has offices, namely in the city of Bali. in Bali you can use bitcoin for anything, such as renting a hotel and pay for other things.  |
