the 30% of the supply held by DEVs to pay users who view ads

~5% reserved for paying users for first 10 year, and are to be used as "promotion" or "example" payment.

Websites and advertisers will start paying after critical user mass reached, and they will buy coins on exchanges.

i understand but my question is how or in which currency will the advertisers pay u guys ? with btc or usd or Mass tokens ?

and is there any fees which will be charged to the advertisers ? if yes, then how much ?

a more descriptive technical paper is needed IMO...thanks.

Nice idea however.

Great project. I know the Former Mozilla CEO build some ad-blocking browser and get millions of investment.

I think this is a great project in bitcointalk at this year. I am investor now.

upup~ Let more users get a chance enter this project.

It is cool for the users, if it allows ads, may be more business, who knows. Allowing ads is also a good point to profit? Ad-blocking is a double sward, just my opinion.

We are not going to sell any ads! Smiley

Nowadays there is a huge online ads market, and it works well. The only thing we are going to do — stop free data harvesting and allow RTB market players to buy user profiles for ads targeting.

a more descriptive technical paper is needed IMO...thanks.

We will post it soon, it's almost ready, but we have to check all details.

We are going to build distributed network of DPMs (Data Management Platform). Everyone who wants to get target ads and to earn some coins for viewing ads, would upload an encrypted data with user profile. That will be done by our client software automatically. Profile data will be encrypted, so nobody will get your data for free.

Mass-ready certified websites (and ads networks) will receive one-time unique user id with key for decryption. RTB players could buy encrypted data, decrypt it and use it for bidding ads. Of course, to do this you will have to deposit some Mass coins! Wink

Open the main project page, you will find the countdown time and eta there.

Regarding the bounty info - it is somewhere inside the posts here at BCT, but its not easy to find it.
Thats right, pianist, it would be right to put it into the OP, or at least put a link to the post containing the signature bounty information.

It is supposed to be run as a Coloured Coin inside the Bitcoin blockchain.

Yes, at the moment Colored coins over Lightning Network looks to be the best solution for Mass coin.

We received in PM a lot of questions about out Mass DMP.

Why it is centralized? We decided to clarify this, this is very important question.

Mass actually seems like a good idea: it's like how Google pays certain consumers for installing a router to track the history of the user. Can you clarify how the data will actually be collected by the companies and how Mass will regulate that?

All data will be collected on the user side. User devices will synchronize via cloud storage in encrypted form.

Once your DSP receives a user profile (or part of it),  there won't be any third party cookies available for data harvesting. So, next time you get request from the same user, you will have to buy his profile again.

We will provide the links to our escrow holders' social media statements in the coming days - they are quite busy,  as you can imagine.
