Called it a game sounds nice, my simple explanation. Investment is different, it is about charts, not games. Casinos offer all kinds of funny games to let us entertain and lose money.

Gambling definition:
1. play games of chance for money; bet.
2. take risky action in the hope of a desired result.

Investment definition:
1. the action or process of investing money for profit or material result

Game definition:
1. a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck.
2. a type of activity or business, especially when regarded as a game.

You can see from this that all 3 words can apply to each other. This means that when you're gambling you're always investing and in most cases you're also playing games (poker, dice, roulette, slots, sports, etc).

The gambling is a game, as the games you have two sides, win or loose, nothing different on this, besides you need skills to play a game and not just lucky. But well gambling isnt a good way to invest any coin, but people are addicted to the potencial pot.

because it is a game. It only is known as gambling because people started using money as a form of reward to whoever win.

Gambling should purely be considered as medium of entertainment so we can call it game however in most of the cases people try to make gambling a medium to earn big and loss all they have. I think gambling shouldn't be considered as investment or any earning oppurtunity.

That is why gambling exists because of entertainment purposes. Involvement with money is just a plus in the scene, but not recommended if you're the guy seeking for profit.

Gambling nothing but paid games playing for fun and entertainment. If you think that you're playing games with money to earn more than that is wrong because you can't win money always and easily and you can lose all of your money within few minutes to seconds, if you don't gamble carefully. Investments are something like growing money over the time not instantly.

Agree with this. If you invest, you can't see a return on just one click. You are investing when you spend for something that may be profitable for you in the future(so obviously, it's not just one click away). You are spending your money in gambling, yes, however the result (win or lose) is instant in just few clicks. It's supposed to be for entertainment only, it's just that many gamblers take it in different way like earning profit.

Not only you but everyone needs money, but gambling is not the way to earn money because mostly you may lose all your money if you chase winnings in gambling. So try to find some other ways to earn money and spend your money on gambling for fun and entertainment. Hope you will understand the gambling logic before you lose lot money in it.

have you ever opened one of these gambling sites? like your own signature for example (777coin) these are all games from a simple dice game to more complicated card games that you play.

and as it was said before in other topics a million times, gambling is not an investment because even though you can make profit from it, gambling is so unpredictable unlike investment.

For me it is a game that involves money. It is a matter of winning and losing. Just like in life whenever circumstances comes we take sometimes to risk our things life and money. It's just on the matter on how we use it or see it. Everything got its meaning depending on us

People call gambling a game because people play gambling. investment won't suppose to be played.
gambling have many and different type of farms. and some of them are games and some of them are not.

it is not an invesstment because
- you can not make money from gambling, in long term.
- the risk of doing it is so huge
- there is way you can know the result of it.
- in case of loss you lose all but in an investment you lose only part of your money.

In my own understanding and opinion, gambling games  is  somewhat you gamble your money on playing games or risking on it  just to make it grow and its not  considered as an investment because you wont  get  stable income in doing gambling games  in fact you would surely lose money on doing gambling compare  on an investment.

Good definitions, however,

I think that gambling can be called a game for sure, as it is an activity. While it is a risky game, it is still a game.

However, I don't think gambling can be called an investment in the slightest, as you aren't "investing" your money per se. You could regard it as one, but it would be foolish.
