Dump or long term goals?

Never dump your coins because i see the price rising in the future of the bitcoin off coyurse there was allot of people who are not very pleased about the bitcoin
future but i dont think that is right because the future will be great for the bitcoin and how!

for me, i will choose long term goals because bitcoin is good investment and its for long term. but for now, i only use bitcoin for trading no matter if there is a dump or pump in the market. all i care is how i make profit in trading.

If you can stay in the old altcoin like dogecoin litecoin monero or almost top 20 in the market cap you can make a good profit in long term just to hold those altcoin for a long time because those altcoin are not so fast just like bitcoin.. but the price of bitcoin can be effect the value of altcoin..

if we are people who believe in bitcoin we must be able to wait for the magic price in the future, such as what happens when the price of bitcoin 2010 was approximately $1 and then in 2013 increased to $1000 and this is very likely to happen again in the future, with the higher price of about $5k-$10k.

Yes  rise  is coming, we observe an increase in bitcoin  during november and december.  Just like what  happened in 2013 and last year.  It is more probably happen this year too.  so better hold your coins and see how much profit you can get after this 2016.  But if  you can hold itlonger than 2016 then more porbably you will earn more.

With the price that is being relatively stable in the last weeks/months, it's not that easy to make profits. You either need to be trading with many coins where you constantly buy and sell at every 0.5-1% change, or else it's better to wait for days with volatility to return. I prefer the latter option.

Right now, I'm trying to think long-term.  I'm young enough for that, just barely.  As far as bitcoin goes, I keep buying and selling and regretting the latter.  I try to save, but most of my disposable income goes into the stock market, which I do like more than bitcoin (HERESY!!).  I can't say I'm trying to time the bitcoin market, because that's not true.  I just sell when I need the money--but I should be saving it. 

The more I think about this, the dizzier I get.  Gonna not think about it now.

Long term goals is a good thing, but i think you need to spend some of you earning, at least you need to enjoy your earning, and you dont know how long the coin is going to survive, so just spend some of your coin to help the coin to survive and to enjoy yourself

well totally you can earn profit by doing some short trade for this coins if you really want, bitcoins price are slowly moving and you can take the oppurtunity to do some little trade with that movements, but i can't blame your though's since the price for bitcoin are bit on stable stage, but bitcoin is unpredictable maybe we can see some pump  on future and those long stakers would provably earn more porfit by their longterm patience.

its risky for newbies to actually trade like a scalper especially to the coins that is heavily traded because any moment that they dump the price could just jump up and end up losing coins instead of gaining pennies. tried these several times to the newly released coins.

I feel you.  I am struggling right now with holding or selling my other altcoins.  I wanted to have a taste of it but I know that iy is my lost if I will sell some of it. 

But of course, it is better if we just hold on our bitcoin and wait for a huge price increase and sell it when we feel that it is enough for us.

Definitely choosing for long term goals cause long term goals tend to unfold the best for bitcoin when investing.
Dumping early every time is not smart, bitcoin is raising the day today and will keep doing so.

What the reason make you think must wait 10 years, we don't need to wait 10 years just for seeing the price rise, if you hold for one days that's mean you has choose long term trade.

you can do long and short term investments in the same time. i do exactly that. i am holding my coins for the long term, and in the mean time i entertain myself with trading against the volatility. that way i can benefit from both without having to choose for one of the two.

I honestly have some long term goals because I think that the bitcoin can go to a very large amount if we just wait a long term.
We just need to stay believing and have faith to accomplish our goals.
