it remained through many hard times, many doubters and those saying bitcoin will be finished in a month etc etc... it still remains strong today and despite the 200 per btc dip it ranges around 500-600 now..

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Bitcoin is a strong currency and it will be even more stronger in future when people will start using it as a normal currency, with circulation of coins we can also expect higher price.

From my point o view, bitcoin is now ruling the cryptocurrency world. I don't know other coin with such strength as bitcoin has gained over the years, and you can see the results in the market.

Well Ethereum is getting there and Bitcoin has to contend with both ETClassic and ETH.
So we will see if it can weather the storm of the outslaught from both corners.

bitcoin is different in any altcoin thats why they are calling altcoin because its just a alternative for bitcoin.. bitcoin is release before and it is not starting as altcoin.. he is already a bitcoin.. so it is really the strongest coin online ever..

with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets
Well, I can't agree with this one. It is possible to count the probability of something but you can never know for sure what the result will be like.
That is why I am pretty sure nobody can hack bitcoin with the help of a calculator or computer nowadays. I think it is only potentially possible with the help of a quantum computer but we will understand whether such a computer can end encryption only in the future.

It's still young and promising currency, without amazing power or something like that, sure it's popular and people like it, but as currency it's not so strong.

Yeah it needs to improve more. First thing is to tighten its security. Second is to gain more popularity in the outside world so that not only the consumers to increase but the contributors too.

bitcoin security is tight enough!!
and remember bitcoin security is not the same as your wallet security that is up to you to secure your own wallet file and keep it safe.

Pretty strong I think because although it has been tried many times like exchanges being hacked and all and yes the price would drastically go down but then after it happened the price is going up again. This would mean that people still trust bitcoin after all the unavoidable things happening and still believe that it's just bumps along the way and bitcoin will still thrive to go higher. Many people are slowly becoming bitcoin enthusiasts that's why the price is going up because of the strong demand.

We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
OMG, seriously? Hack bitcoin with a calculator? Only in case if your friend is a geniuous. If it takes HOURS for strong mining machines to generate bitcoins, how long do you think would it really take to HACK btc...

Well it could possibly die not just because of its value but on how long people will support bitcoin.  It always depend on how long we will support bitcoin or any other product that will pronounce its sustainability.  But since people are starting to gaining knowledge on bitcoin and how it helps many people I believe that it will surely stay for a long long time.

Young as a currency compared to other currencies of the world? Yes, but young as a currency in online world? Not at all, because now it is quite old and it has got quite a good amount of users in the community, and it is also quite strong in terms of security as in all those years it has not got any problems like other coins mostly do, so we can consider it strong.

Bitcoin is pretty strong if you ask me but it has the potential to become allot stronger in the future. This is only the beginning of Bitcoin.
I am sure that in the future it will become allot more popular then it is right now.
