In my opinion i will say mass adoption will be profitable it will cause huge trades in market but price increase is just a temporary fun it will not stay at highest forever and it can have nequmetive effects too

Mass adoption would obviously be better since there would be better publicity for it, thus the more bitcoins are decentralized and probably and hopefully more active bitcoin users. Mass adoption would enable better payment options for us bitcoin users. Huge price increase would only attract holders and will have more people holding and less active bitcoin in circulation, therefore less chances for improvement.

It depends on the type of person. There are enough people wanting the price to go up to such a level where they can make huge profits from, but they mostly don't speak. These people don't care about mass adoption as they only want quick gains. I personally find mass adoption to be the better option as I am here for the long term. That being said, mass adoption in the way that people use Bitcoin more as a currency tool. That gives merchants around the world more incentive to start accepting Bitcoin as form of payment.

For the long term it is mass adoption. What good is a huge price if the only people using it are the speculators making profit on BTC's price movements. But if you're here only to make some money, then go ahead and speculate in BTC because it is available and no one is stopping you. In fact most of the users here are in it for that very reason.

Increasing price only benefits speculators. Some people (mostly speculators, of course) claim that an increasing price attracts more adoption; however, the people it attracts are just more speculators. If Bitcoin is all about speculation, then it is just a giant pyramid scheme and a waste of time.

Speculation is not about great value of assets - it is not about huge volatility of asset or currency.
I don't see much speculation, or at least off the charts speculation on commodity markets.
Bitcoin is specific because it is volatile crytocurrency - there is nothing wrong with having stable expensive bitcoin.

Just due to the law of supply and demand, mass adoption would create a huge price increase. The more people who want ANYTHING of limited supply, the more that thing will cost. That said, adoption is basically how price increases. Someone with an insane amount of money to burn possibly could increase the price artificially by offering to buy at a stupidly high price, but that price couldn't be sustained because it is doubtful that person could secure nearly all of the bitcoin at that price to sustain it, (there would be many holdouts waiting for it to go higher.)

i believe that these two are connected to each other. of course i mean adoption and price rise not a huge price rise. because for example when price rises a lot more people come to bitcoin and invest in it and anybody who buys bitcoin will look more into it to see what it does. and also the adoption is obviously rising the price.

Price increase of course but if it will not adopt by many people there might be probability that it may gone or there's no price increase to happen. But for now I might enjoy using what bitcoin can offer for now and worried later. Just entertain and earn for now.

I chose mass adoption, because with it, many people including merchants will utilize bitcoin and it will help bitcoin grow into a less volatile currency because people don't have to convert to cash most of the time and use it as is.
