Bankroll Management Challenge!

5% is still too much for proper bankroll management. Imagine playing dice for instance and hitting a bad streak..

Real bankroll management would be more like 0.5% of your bankroll per bet. After you lose or win say 10 times total, you readjust the bet size (you can do it for every bet, but that is not very convenient).

You want to be able to keep playing, and this will help you do just that. It gives you more time to get that lucky jackpot hit and it can prevent you from tilting really bad.

from the rest of OP's comments on this topic i guess he is betting on sports and i think it is not such a bad strategy since he is making bets on sports and if he is good at it he can win and make a good profit.

although i wish he explains more about the strategy, like what does he do with the winning amounts (add to bankroll or withdraw)
also what does he do in case of losing a bet?

Still, 5% is simply too much for proper bankroll management. 0.5% may be a bit conservative, but id say 1-2% is the absolute maximum you should bet if you dont want to go bust.

Testing this method...wager only 5% of bankroll each time...

If people don't greed that much they're going to be rich for their daily profit made for me it is the best way to play gambling is to not to be that greed that much because if you are going to be greed that much you will get lose and you will lose all your money if you are going to play with 5% then thats the patience called

I agree that 5% is quite a lot. Especially there can be a period where you are off in your prediction. You can get all 10 over matches wrong and you would have lose 50% of your bankroll. To get back to original value, you actually need 20matches all correct.

It is not a lot when you do not have a lot of investment, flat betting is recommended so you will test your skills in gambling. For me, I would recommend you do it in sports betting as there is a big chance you can win in the long run. Just have to select games that you can cap well so the outcome will favors you most of the time.

It is not a lot when you do not have a lot of investment, flat betting is recommended so you will test your skills in gambling. there is nothing saying 5% is bad and flat rate is good or vice versa.

it all depends on the players themselves and how they want to go about gambling their own money. although when you set a strategy for yourself you have to stick with it till the end. and never switch everyday.
