Sorry for the delay in paying the winnings. I've had a very difficult week. My pregnant girlfriend left back to europe, I had some banking issues, fucking banks... I've had very little sleep and really focused on my family situation. I'm gonna be a Dad and not be able to see the little one straight away, it's tough but I don't have the family support group where I live to manage a child as horrible as that sounds.

I will have the winners paid tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

Rob did the checks for cheating and everyone who won was legitimate. He is in no way responsible for this delay. It's all me.

Please accept my apologies. It's just me running the site, I love poker, I want to make a place where people love to play and have a community. I haven't researched it but I probably threw out the biggest freeroll on a new site ever... don't quote me on that though.

Please have a little more patience and understanding. The response was overwhelming, I had like 10 chats going while neglecting my last days with my girl. Trying to provide proper support to players.

Next FR will run 2 hrs from now. Minimum 25 players, prize pool is 20 chips (20 mbtc). I think it is tough to get 25 real players to show up to games at a new site. Normally for a game like this you will have some multi-accounter sign in 10-20 accounts just so the tourney will run. But because Hityourbit monitors closely, as they should, it becomes extremely unlikely that 25 people will show.

There are a number of other, better established FR running at that same time, includng Fortunejack and Nitrogen Sports.

If the FR doesn't run with Min 25 players, I'd like to suggest a 5-10 chip FR with 5-10 player minimum.

Beyond that, to be honest, you are not likely to get much action. There are simply too many places to play, and too few players. I will only play live on one site at a time, and even I have three go-to sites before considering to sit at an empty table on a new site.

I'll be stopping in from time to time - helps that mavens is familiar and browser based - and hope Hityourbit can get some action going. It will be tough though. Site owners will have to bleed red for some time, and hope/pray to build a loyal user base over time. Many sites have tried and failed over the last few years ... and many looked very much like Hityourbit.

I would recommend that the site owner explore a connection with Moneypot, such that moneypot users can easily transfer balances back and forth, and provide some advertising on the MP site. You might even run FR using Rubies, a currency launched by Betterbets - another MP app. Just trying to be helpful ...

So, I generally give people the benefit of the doubt in any given situation, however, times like this make me question that philosophy. I won the FR last Saturday night. I was told by site admin, after some discrepancies about the payout structure in the tournament info, that 1st place paid out 1000mBtc. He said he wanted to have someone check the logs to make sure no cheating had occurred and that once it was verified, we would be able to w/d from the site, most likely Sunday morning. I put in my w/d request Sunday morning. I talked to admin again, briefly, on Sunday, via the onsite chat, and was assured we would be paid out "today or tomorrow." Since then, I've yet to receive a response to my on site message, nor the dm I sent him on this site. The post above was from Monday evening, and I've yet to receive my coin. Hopefully one day, I'll see it , but I'm not counting on it.

That was just really bad timing.

At least we will have finally successfully paid out the biggest freeroll ever in BTC history, and if anyone ever makes a deposit - I'll throw more freebies away in the future.

I haven't read all this thread, I'm sure it's not all good - but I hope you all know the intention was there, it was just back luck. I still want to build a best place for real player to play and have a say in their game, and have a community on a site run by an ex-pro.

I'm just trying to make a cool place where players are people, not numbers, and valued. Like I've said  million times. Rough bloody week. We are getting back on track. Starting by making these payments now.

I'm not a major user of this website, so I won't be a massive presence here, as you can tell by my newb status.

But we've sorted out rungood. I've emailed the rest of the winners. Just want to confirm their wallets with them as it's been a couple days and personally apologize for the delay.
