I think that children and teenagers need to know a little bit about bitcoin. Of course, until you give them a complex theory, you can tell them briefly why it was created, how to use it and what benefit it will bring to the world.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

To give a brief background of bitcoin is easy because all they have to know and all we have to explain is what is the definition of bitcoin and how it works. I would probably use compatison in order for kids to understand it more, but when it comes to teenagers, I would explain it as it is because it would be comprehensive. Although, explaining some bitcoin activities would be quite difficult.
If you want a complete and specific explanation about Bitcoin for kids, you should explain with the examples. In fact, my parents are people with low knowledge in society, I took a lot of time to explain to them understand what Bitcoin is? How does it work? Of course, I always include examples of users in the decentralization system, in that the government is the one who enforces the rules when we use FIAT while Bitcoin can bring freedom while used for the user.

it is very difficult to explain to the people especially to the teenagers or children what bitcoin is all about. As far as i know nowadays, teenagers are very updated in new technology, then maybe it will really help if we guide them about this and to explain harder whats the purpose of bitcoin and yes bitcoin is a money.

Show them guides, videos, and step-by-step instructions of the bitcoin world, if they have interest for it they will learn if not let them be, you can't force everyone into loving bitcoin.

Younger generations are computer lovers that is why they can easily understand especially when it comes to income generating. But they cannot do investments becs. Of lack of resources. Maybe they can start in a bounty campaign and from there they can learn by reading bitcointalk discussions.

On my opinion, bitcoin is hardest to explain on children since i think they are not ready yet and not that interested about bitcoin. Children are still more into playing and not yet into serious matters like bitcoin. It is not easy to explain bitcoin especially to people who are not interested to it. Maybe,  while they are still young, start it by just opening a topic about bitcoin and eventually tell them what bitcoin is all about and do it little by little and when they get older, they will remember about bitcoin but don't surprise or force children to join bitcoin if you know they are not ready yet.

Well I have studied economics and it was not so hard for me to understand the structure of it, so if we teach the kids about the economy and money than btc would not be a problem to explain.
For me, it is really difficult to explaim bitcoin to teenagers. Just like me, when I first started joining in a signature campaign. I have really no idea about bitcoin until sich time when someone teaches me how to earn here. At first, its really hard to understand because there so many terms or ideas than you will need to understand. But if you commit yourself to give knowledge to others your work will not go in trash.

You don't need to explain at all. Today's kids are clever as fuck. If a kid doesn't understand what bitcoin is, leave him/her be. Bitcoin will surely live long, and I am hoping as well that my children in the future will have the same interest like mine, I am going to tell them that living in the crypto world gives more opportunity than in real life world. Here, you have full control of your time and you are the boss.

Well there is no need to explain to children at present. Its better they concentrate on their studies. To teenager who is in graduation semester can be taught and given the basiscs stuff available on internet and its features so that it could also be free to join the bitcoin world if they wish to .

I agree with you children must not think of other things and into earning something. Because if they are going to know how to earn for sure they are going to use it for their addictions like smoking and worst if they are into drugs. Why? Because that is really happening these days especially when they have source of income.

I agree too.Parents should also understand that till a particular age children should be under their control completely. But at the most at the age of fifteen children should be left free but with proper guidance. So if you are explaining BITCOIN to a teenager you can tell them a bit about its working and use.

To teenagers you can explain that btc is regular money that has value and can be used to buy goods and services. It's also similar to stocks because the value fluctuates based on the supply and demand

I don't understand why children should be deprived of their childhood. better to let them walk and play. but if they are interested in cryptocurrency, you can support them by explaining to them about the cryptocurrency and allocate money so that they try

If in a nutshell - Bitcoin is a payment system, the same as VISA. There is another technology inside, but it does not need to be scrutinized at all.
Very often the word Bitcoin is also called money, which are in the account. If the VISA card can be placed in rubles or dollars, then Bitcoins lie on the Bitcoin-purse.

Explaining the overall procedure may be quite difficult to teach the early teen though there are many ways such as YOUTUBE which provides info about all the things GOOGLE another easy way but it would be easier if they are teached in their late teen stage so that they can go on through their own

if we want to explain Bitcoin to children and teenagers we can tell about what is Bitcoin, that Bitcoin is a digital money that can be used for various purposes. we can also explain the functions and uses of Bitcoin, how to get bitcoin, how to store Bitcoin, and how to convert Bitcoin into paper money. and no less important is, we must explain to them the History of the emergence of this Bitcoin.

It is difficult to explain the growth of bitcoin to teenagers, especially underage children. I have also experienced difficulties in understanding bitcoin mainly and one of them is how to get and use or spend it. bitcoin is a type of currency that you can use to spend money and save money. it is simple to make them think that bitcoin is easy and understandable as time passes.

If a teenager is interested in this, then he needs to explain what bitcoin. Bitcoin is an payment network and a new kind of not physical money. But i think they don't need. And who needs it they have long been sitting on this forum. I think there are a lot of teenagers here.

Leave children out of it, let children be children before they have to start worrying about money and as for teenagers, I'm sure they have heard about it or might know even more than you.

I was enthusiastic before to tell this to my kids, but I think I might skip that for the meantime. I mean if it comes to handling huge amounts of crypto money they need to be very very responsible. Definitely we need to be cautious.
