It is very difficult to explain to teenagers, especially children, because children do not need to be introduced to bitcoin or currency and so on, but for teenagers it is necessary because teenagers may already understand what bitcoin,no need to bother to explain it directly because they can search the internet-internet network, youtube etc.
If you can spend a little of times to teach the teenagers know the knowledge about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, I think you should to do that. Because internet is a large world, the teenagers can choose wrong source to learn the knowledge about cryptocurrency and make them become the gambler instead of an investor or the developer in the future.

Teenagers are easier to explain about new technologies, my son immediately penetrated into the topic when I described to him superficially what is the stock exchange and extraction, he is 12 years old.

At the very least these children and teenagers must have background knowledge about the market at least. Only by assuring that their kinds are ready, you could start educating them about bitcoin. Teenagers are easier to teach in my opinion since they already have a good background knowledge about the internet and the computer. Start by telling them that bitcoin is originally meant to be a currency for the internet, however, due to certain circumstances including its continuous rise in value, people found a way to earn profit from it. Then teach them all the complicated things as well as the dos and don't of bitcoin owning abd bitcoin investing.

If i would have to explain a kid what Bitcoin is, i would compare Bitcoin to fiat money.

Then tell them fiat money is the money issued by banks, whereas Bitcoin is YOUR money. Nobody can take it away from you. Banks can devaluate money by printing more. Bitcoin will only increase for the reason people will incline towards certainty, trustless systems, and their money not being owned by any institution.

That's right, bitcoin takes full concentration and it's hard for kids to understand bitcoin, maybe if they're high school then they'll understand about bitcoin because of the many things we have to say, and high school is the ideal age.

Best way of explaining is using the gold analogy.

But I think explaining it to a person in his/her early teens will be quite diffiicult. Best to wait till the person reaches late teens and then explain
Yes ,it is so hard to explain to them especially if they are not interested to waste just like 2-4hours a day spending time to bitcoin .
But its easy to explain if the teenagers are openminded with business and money and they know how value each money that goes on their hands
Yes, that's true my first time to tell my kid about bitcoin they dont interested. Now he is in college now they understand now about bitcoin, he interested to earn high profit. He learn how to invest in his subject in school. Now he joining in bitcoin for his future to become successful.....

You don't have to explain a kid viguriously what Bitcoin is, just a matter of facts or principles in order for him to grasp the idea around Bitcoin. For real, if you would have to explain a kid what Bitcoin is, would you mention about profits/losses? Not exactly, because making and losing money isn't the main motivation bitcoin has been brought up to existance, but because until now, us humans had no neutral money system.

You don't need to. Time by time, they will learn if they think it's important!

Sometimes it is hard to explain bitcoin for grownups so they might be in the same category as teenagers. What can we do? Let's explain it to them exactly how we understand it

i don't think there's a need to explain it to children, teenagers understand everything as it is because they're socially active. It's harder to explain things to older people or to those with an old fashioned upbringing.

The best way to explain to children about crypto currency is first to interest them in the form of a game and to present it as an interesting machine for mining crypto and also to say how this machine can be magically prilite in any part of the world. And on YouTube they often hang up and learn this by virtue of their interest.

i think its not a good time to explain what is bitcoin to kids or teenangers because they dont need it and still have something more important to than understanding bitcoin...the important thing to do now is to make bitcoin well accepted to every country in this world...and if that happen kids and teenagers will slowly know what is bitcoin and altcoin as well

I think it would be better if we let the children enjoy their lives. Since they are still dependent on their parents, they do not need to learn bitcoin ASAP and as technology advances and bitcoin growth, I think they'll figure it out at the right time to find out the blockchain currency. With teenagers, most of them go into web browsing, look for side jobs and explore the technology so it's probably easier for them to learn about bitcoin with little supervision. Teach them the basics, how bitcoin works and what we can do with it, as long as they are drawn into it, they will make a way to learn more about it

Bitcoin is difficult to explain to children especially when they do not have enough knowledge about it. This may affect their childhood minds especially in their age they are not yet interested in such matters. All we can do is to support those teenagers that is interested to know and learn about bitcoin also teach them the basic things that can help their mind to gain knowledge so they can make a way to learn more about it.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
I think it's hard to explain to teenagers. I told them that bitcoin is a good way to invest, and now many people around the world are investing in it, and it may become the currency of the world in the future.

Bitcoin to teenagers or children? For me if it is discuss or explain to them thoroughly no problem, because in this generation if we talk about computer and internet this is not new and hard for them. Instead it is easy for them to do such activity her in bitcoin. One of the best thing is guide and teach them upon starting

I think it is unnecessary to put the children into this subject early on. You can do it, there are games that give tokens. Play them with kids: D

Explaining bitcoin to teenagers or children would be difficult to do. But we can't deny the fact that there are still some teenagers who have somehow a capacity to understand it. I think explaining about bitcoins using the most layman's term would be helpful to somehow open their minds to understand. Giving them a chance to know some basic knowledge would be good for them so in time if they decided to pursue dealing with bitcoins it wouldn't be that so strange on their part to understand and work with bitcoins.
