A small tip for frustrated users/investors:
Expectation is everything. I used to be pretty frustrated due to all the delays and issues that have arise thus far, but I now realize that was because I expected perfection from the start.
This is a very big, complex, and unique project that tries to solve to a lot of things in the cryptocurrency and fiat world and therefore, will have a lot of issues/bugs starting out. The team is not perfect, but they haven't given up and are still working. So it will require a lot of patience to see things get done correctly. Definitely much more patience required compared to other projects out there. So just keep this in mind and you'll be much happier.
I think the only surest way to lose money is to sell now. So I would hold on for awhile. If the current rise of some other alt coins are any indication, then KMD has a pretty bright future ahead of it.

I certainly wouldn't be selling at a loss right now due to fear of losing even more money. Personally, I don't plan to take any short term profits until price is at least 2-3x ICO. You will find KMD will be next SuperNet epic failure on the price, 2-3X ICO? If the price is 1/2 of ICO in 1 year, the project can be considered as successful. |

If you said that about 1 year ago, I might be tempted to agree with you. But now that there's finally a tangible product with GUI and all (Iguana App), the chances of any of this failing is relatively low IMO. At this point, it's really just a matter of polishing things, fixing bugs, and adding new features (which appear to be mostly there already). Again, this phase will probably still take awhile, but as each day passes, that chance of failure becomes lower and lower. |

Wow I am so happy with the wallet. I know this is just a beta but I just downloaded it and realized this is going to be one hell of platform as soon as everything works perfectly. Cheers for that.

I think the developers had to first put up a working version of Komodo wallet for the average user who does not own special knowledge.
what would we be able to move your coins
and then do more complex things

20x the transparent TPS as it has 10x faster blocks and 2MB blocksize z-transactions are about 5x larger, so if 100% of transactions are z-transactions, then "only" 4x faster, but it is highly unlikely to go 100% ztransactions, so most likely in the 10x to 20x. Now that is counting just KMD. If assetchains are added into the mix, there are almost 50 assetchains, so that is another 50x multiplier, which would end up at some crazy 500x to 1000x capacity if you count all assetchains that currently exist. of course, hundreds more assetchains can be created. scaling tps can be done by replicating already working tech |
