Some of these accusations are pretty unfair to you, but in some people's defense, I don't think they're completely unfounded.  Unfortunately in the past 2-3 years, you've attached your name to way too many projects (whether or not you were directly involved) and most of these projects have not really amounted to anything.  I understand that you've been working hard and have never given up, but at this point it's kind of become your responsibility to prove these accusations wrong and clear your reputation.  Hopefully that can be done once Komodo and all these other features are finally released to the public.

It's not his "responsibility" to prove anything to you.  Everyone else does not have these concerns.  His reputation is fine with everyone but you, and frankly I would rather him work on the code than debate trolls on the internet.

You don't think it's his responsibility to investors, the people who provided funds to help keep his project(s) going?

And you're wrong, there are definitely enough people who has these concerns. Enough to create a reputation.
I have coded what I said I would code for komodo. It is feature complete, in fact with bonus features like PAX. When bugs are found, I fix them reasonably quickly. Are there more bugs left to fix, probably, and when they are found I will fix them.

So, if my reputation is that I finish coding what I say I will and work hard to achieve this, but things out of my control prevent it from being released, how exactly do you suggest I fix it? It is out of my direct control. I have recruited capable devs to do the things that need to be done, but again, I cannot control the timing of other devs.

Does it matter that there is a GUI in beta testing? I just have no idea what would make impatient investors happy other than releasing final product, but again I do not do GUI. I do not do installers. I do not do websites. So I need to wait for those, just like everybody else.

Due to these personal attacks on me, I think it is best that I just take the weekend off as it does not seem to matter how hard I work toward improving the codebase. It is a long term process and not tied to a specific release event, but I guess this is not something that most investors will understand. Since there is nothing I can personally do to speed up the release process, and I will get attacked regardless of what I do.

Hey don't get me wrong. Not trying to attack you. I apologize if I came out that way.  I've been invested in Supernet since day one so I truly only hope the best for this project.

Unfortunately, since you're the lead developer and your name is attached to everything, your reputation and the team's reputation becomes one and the same. I understand lots of things are out of your control. I do wish the team could be more organized and efficient, especially now that there are paid members, supported by funds from investors.  So I hope my frustration is not completely unreasonable.

I am frustrated with the delays on the ICO site, but I dont start complaining to myself. I try not to bug the responsible dev too much as that seems counterproductive.

Turns out even with paid people, it doesnt magically make them able to do all the things I cant do at arbitrary speed.

Also, please take a look at the easydex and iguana GUI. I think it is quite good and satinder and boogieman's team are doing a great job. We hit a delay due to having to add a sandbox around it it to solve a security flaw. This security flaw could well exist in other html based wallets, like XMR GUI had. There was no choice in my mind as it is worth a delay to make it secure.

So, overall, the delays in the ICO site have not slowed the project down. From what I have seen both the ICO site and the GUI(s) are both quite close. However, I dont know html code well enough to be able to know exactly how far away it is.

Just keep in mind that those of us who have actually run projects like this fully understand where you are. I am an early investor and project/IT/manager/coder and I have no problem with the state of progress here. As I tell my teams, I would rather it be done right then done quickly. Keep up the good work please, cheers mate!

can some1 help me to sync my  BTCD wallet?

When I installed it, it automatically synced.  So not sure what problem you are having, but if you gave a few details, you would be more likely to get some help.

KMD has not been released yet.  You can buy BTCD on Poloniex and in the next few weeks, you can swap 1 BTCD for 50.45 KMD.  Read the last few pages of the thread for details.

KMD has not been distributed yet,  so it is not on exchange.  Currently  final tests are being done on the ICO site for the BTCD swap.

Komodo is a proof-of-work coin  using Equihash algorithm.    However built into Komodo is a 5% APR mechanism based on unspent tx outputs.  What this means is that from the time the coins enter your wallet they will be accruing interest up to 5% a year.   To claim this interest payment,  you have to send a transaction out.   This transaction can be to YOUR OWN ADDRESS.
You can claim this interest  multiple times throughout the year and obtain a compounding effect.

To get into KMD now since the ICO is over  you can  buy BTCD to swap for KMD  at a rate of approximately  1BTCD ~ 50.44 KMD.    This is an amazing bargain considering the price of BTCD, however order books are thin, so large purchases of BTCD may drive the price up significantly.

BTCD swap is estimated to happen in a week or so

Thank you for your comment. it's very easy to understand this coin. I will join this project .
May I buy some BTCD coins on the exchange and send them to my private wallet for swap?

You can send them to your private wallet and hold them until swap  ( BTCD is a staking coin so you can gain a little interest while waiting for ICO site to accept BTCD )

When the ICO site is ready  you can send the BTCD to your own address generated by the site.

We will make a big announcement when the ICO is ready to accept BTCD.   Stay tuned!

now the Price for 1 KMD is 0.00006730

its a half....so the biggest looser are the Bitcoin Investors.....Thank you jl777 for that big loss.

I invested more than 30 BTC in that project....now people can only invest 15 BTC in BTCD and have the same Amount of KMD...thats very frustrating :-(

Its 0.00012909 btc /kmd

now the Price for 1 KMD is 0.00006730

its a half....so the biggest looser are the Bitcoin Investors.....Thank you jl777 for that big loss.

I invested more than 30 BTC in that project....now people can only invest 15 BTC in BTCD and have the same Amount of KMD...thats very frustrating :-(

Did you forget that BitCoin jumped in price? KMD will also effectively be worth what BTC is worth across the ICO. If you invested BTC at $700 you still hold that value. Live coins can fluctuate and once KMD is live it will match the invested worth of KMD to BitCoin. Would you sell your KMD you got with BitCoin for Half? No! So neither would anyone else lol...

no...thats not correct...in past when i dont had invest in KMD directly with BTC  but invested 33 BTC in BTCD and wait until now...then i will get the double amount...thats not fair

The BTCD swap is fair. You are invested in BTCD it just gave you a good position in KMD. It is like a Stock split because even with all the BTCD it is only a small fraction of KMD. Considering BTCD are now no longer able to get Market activity since most if not all of the BTCD will be swapped and there are no devs in BTCD. It is like paying it forward to BTCD. Approx 1.3 Million BTCD and it will be interesting to see how much makes it in to the swap too.

Bitcoin was $628 at the end of the swap and now it's $876.  That is a huge increase and if you bought the ICO at the beginning with the bonus, you didn't really do much worse than someone buying BTCD today.  I just did the math and they are actually pretty close, in USD terms.

The price varied throughout the ICO because at the start, you got something like 30% extra and 0 extra at the end.  But I believe you got 7746.52 KMD per BTC and BTC was $628 at the end of the ICO.

Well the market will determine the value of KMD and it could be much higher or lower than ICO price. I'm betting it to be higher, but time will tell.
