Sorry if this is obvious, but what is the total supply of KMD and the inflation rate?

Supply starts at 100 million.   Average inflation rate is 5%  + mined blocks  until 200 million is reached in approximately a decade or so.

Users can claim interest by sending tx's to themselves

How is that possible to have limited supply? I mean there's a whole year ahead when people would be swapping BTCD for KMD.

The number of BTCD in existence is known.   90 million KMD will be divided proportionally among BTC and BTCD investors. 10M  for development.

First page of thread

But those 90M will be divided on January 31st, right? What about another 11 months of swap process? Where additional KMD would come from?

Or maybe I don't understand something. You mean that small part (let's say 20%) of 90M will be distributed among BTC investors and the rest part of the supply will be sitting there waiting for BTCD holders to swap? In this case what would happen to unclaimed coins?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I accidentally sent my BTCD to my KMD address instead of the swap
. I have the seed for my KMD address . How do I recover my BTCD ?
importprivkey into BTCD wallet using the KMD wif
How do I do this?
the iguana GUI will be able to convert the ICO passphrase you used into a KMD wif, which can then be imported into both komodod and BitcoinDarkd

so as long as you have the passphrase, your funds are safe

Is the Iguana GUI available ?

This GUI is plagiarized from ordinary eth wallet and operates exactly as ETH wallet, except its non functioning and won't load. One thing to note. Part of the codebase for the wallet has been processed by a contractor from startjoin in december, but the gui has been left unfinished because he later displayed a pathologic disgust to komodo and lifted his pay two fold, which followed by a slight squirrel inside the community and dismissal of that freelancer.

You have been sniffing a little too much of that "sulfur" from your tank, none of that has happened here...

So jl777 has been involved in many projects some he started others he abandoned but none he ever saw through to the end.
Can you refresh my memory as to any project I abandoned? I cant remember any.

I have indeed been involved in many projects, but once I start it I do keep at it until it is done, even if it takes years.

I am still in the process of completing many of the projects and KMD is what enables a lot of them. Oh, and MGW has been done for quite a while. iguana is arguably complete to some degree, just missing a GUI which I dont do.

Also komodod is basically done at this point and it has a working dPoW, round robin mining, zero footprint 5% APR, assetchains, on-demand blocks, and pax completed. I probably forgot some other features I added to komodod, hopefully they wont be upset I didnt list them. With DEX, SVM generator and automated LP node, pangea in the process of being completed on the iguana side.

I estimate the amount of code I have written in the last three years is the equivalent of 10 to 20 man years of ordinary coding. How long do you suggest I should have completed it all in? 2 years?

Basically done, Just missing, I dont do.

Sounds like someone making a lot of excuses to me.

You're a fucking flake and everyone whop supports you will get burned eventually! PROMISE!

It is truly comical to watch people (trolls) who have no real knowledge speak as experts in a subject they know nothing about. Entertaining actually...

Sorry if this was already answered, but if you have/had BTCD in an Exchange and/or staking pool wallet, are you eligible to receive the REVS asset? What will happen to any BTCD that does not get swapped, and are the BTCD devs abandoning that coin? Again, I know some of this was answered, but I'm still not 100% clear. Thanks!

What do you guys predict the value of KMD/BTC will be as soon as it hits exchanges?
My prediction is around 0.00005000 BTC per KMD

Yeah. Sounds like the price you hope you can buy at.

You are correct, the 90M  is for all of the BTCD and BTC investors.   Unclaimed coins will go to the development fund.

No, you have to have BTCD in your own private wallet or send BTCD to ICO site before snapshot to be eligible for REVS asset.

No new development will be done on BTCD.

A little off-topic. Why do you think SuperNET price went so low? 62th place my market cap surrounded by noname projects. Doesn't seem right to me at all.

check the orderbooks,  it doesnt take much to drive it up.

SuperNET asset value is highly dependent on the pass-through divs promised   once they start rolling in the picture will change

Yep, I checked. I had some tokens for quite a while and recently bought more.

Divs = dividends?

correct.  SuperNET holds larges parts of ~25% of alot of jl777's  assets which have associated revenue streams ( Instantdex, crypto777, Nxtcoinsco, pangea   etc.)

Around 12% of BTCD supply has already been deposited to ICO website.

Is there a rich list in block explorer? I wonder how many coins is left on Poloniex.

After watching trolls like you, some people decided to invest 1268 BTC during the first day of KMD ICO.
That says a lot. Nobody trusts troll thoughts.

And a lot of those who invested BTC would have done better to ignore the hype and buy BTCD and wait for the swap. Always remember DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE & READ THE FINE PRINT

Im really glad to see this KMD thing finally get off the ground. I have just deposited all my BTCD's from my local wallet to the ICO site. Went very smoothly and confirmed in just a few minutes. I'm getting a pretty juicy stack of KMD's according to the ICO page  Smiley

When I was moving the coins I noticed I have been holding on to those BTCD's for nearly 3 years now. Always kept them staking on a VPS, didn't touch for all this time. in the block explorer i saw more then 16373 transactions which are all stakes, and that's just 1 address. You can say I'm a long term holder  Cheesy

I wish James and the rest of the team the best of luck!

PS. Mainnet goes live 31th, and so will trading on the exchanges I supose? Any word from Poloniex yet? Will they participate in the swap?

Should have made it more clear sorry: Will Poloniex offer KMD trading along with BTCD trading from the day the mainnet launches?
