all the KMD coins before distribution are in one address.
when you click on payout and confirm your KMD address, the coins quantity you bought during ICO will move from that one big address to your own personal KMD address (actually registered on the blockchain)

if you requested the payout in previous days this means the first batch of personal KMD coins moved on the blockchain and if you import the seed in the wallet you will find your coins already there (btw the wallet is not yet released).

The vast majority of KMD has been distributed.

Nearly 1 million BTCD (of 1.3 million) has been converted

I think there is about 15 million KMD left to be distributed, with most probably waiting for an exchange deposit address.

Notary nodes will be updating to the official mainnet komodod with the elected notaries over the next 24 hours. It will activate as of block 180000, which is the nominal start of mainnet. Of course, since the current network is the same, mainnet actually launched months ago.

Now it is in the hands of the GUI team to get wallets to people. The KMD is in the blockchain ready to be used.

I did authorize a 1 BTC prepayment of notary costs/subsidy to all the election winners so as to cover their costs. We dont want any notary operator's cashflow issues affecting the mainnet of komodo. If you see a larger than normal spend from the ICO address, that is for this.

We continue to maintain a frugal spending attitude with the ICO funds. Until we establish a market price, it is not possible to project burn rates, etc. This has necessarily slowed down our expenditures and pace a bit, but I think all in all, considering the scope of what has been achieve so far, it is quite a good start.

The recent market price action of BTCD puts an implied price 25%+ over the ICO price. Considering the BTC gain against fiat, in fiat terms it is quite a bit higher. I thank all the ICO investors as without your help we could not have achieve what we have so far.

10000 KMD bounty

I offer a 10,000 KMD bounty for the first working GPU mining repo, which includes easy to follow instructions and properly mines KMD. By "working" it means achieving comparable hashrates (Sol) to what is possible with ZEC GPU miner.

The more hashrate KMD has, the more secure it is prior to notarization.

With an estimate 10% to 20% of mining rewards up for grabs, that should support some reasonable amount of GPU miners.

So until KMD is trading on exchanges, the only way to buy KMD is through buying BTCD on Poloniex.   

And 75% of the BTCD has already been swapped and taken off the market, so the supply is greatly reduced.

This could very well lead to further price appreciation of BTCD in the coming days, although it is already up sharply in the past week, so who knows how much further it has to run.  But high BTCD price is only good for KMD at this point, so glad to see all the interest and buzz out there about the debut.

Note that the 'core coin' concept of SuperNET is not really part of the future vision. However, we are looking to work with other projects as much as possible.

The coin has to be bitcoin compatible to get listed in our decentralized exchange and multiwallet. We will add as many coins as possible.

We will be launching a new project though, that uses our assetchains technology. We will create a coin generation kit, which helps anyone launch a new coin project. These coins have an independent blockchain, like all our internal coins too, and are compatible with our platform. We can offer various services, including a white label GUI, and can work with the most innovative projects more closely.

But more about that later.

If you held the BTCD inside your local wallet you already have the REVS. You just need to use command 'dumpprivkey' and export the BTCD privatekeys out of the wallet. With the privatekey you can gain an access to the REVS asset.

You can swap your BTCD to KMD even though you don't have a KMD wallet installed. We recommend you to do that as the exchange rate keeps dropping a little bit everyday, and with KMD you can get 5 % APR interest to your coins.

Through the ICO site you have created a KMD address, and you should have saved your seed which matches with that address. You can request a payment (withdrawal) into your KMD address. This all can be done eventhough you don't have any wallet installed. You can gain an access to your KMD anytime with the seed you have.

So whatever you do:
1) get the BTCD privatekeys and keep them safe
2) keep your KMD seed safe

I have a hard time to follow your argument to swap BTCD to KMD before there is a Wallet and an Exchange.

Isn't it that the Wallet is released the next days? Dunno about the exchange but for me it sounds that it makes more sense to simple wait and keep your values close to you for those few days till the infrastructure is really there for safety.

Seriously I would like to understand what to do because I hold BTCD since a long time now and try to figure out if I best sell them to not have to bother with ICO swap sides and such or move along with you into KMD which still sounds confusing to me.

Given I wait for the Wallet and Exchange (which one and when aprox?).. can I then generate the KMD address on my Wallet myself and swap the BTCD in a matter of minutes and anonymous over your page I guess and get them in my wallet and it's done or doesn't work it that way?
