I tried to payout to the ICO address yesterday with my phone;
seems like it didn't work because I didn't confirm ( It was not shown )

Now i confirmed my payout on my PC; so my question is, will I still get the KMD with the first distribution today?
Or was I too late to check it now ?

Go to the 'home' tab on the ICO website, and check if you have a payout/withdrawal pending.

If it says "pending", then you will receive it with the next payout jl777 does.

so i wait for Iguana Wallet to be ready
and then withdraw my ICO funds there ?
is that the idea ?

there are several possibilities.

1. you can do unix command line -> just build komodod and use it like any command line coin daemon

2. use iguana to access funds

3. withdraw directly to exchange deposit address

the coins are paid out and this goes into the blockchain. The wallet is just one way to access them. komodod is another way. using an exchange is yet another way

The payout simple converts the KMD credits you have on the ICO site into utxo on the blockchain. And you will be the only one who can access them via the passphrase you have kept very safe.

Version for end users should be delivered today but I read that OSX version could take a little more. The latest beta available on github is a few days old and there have been a lot of improvement since then.

There are 3 necessary components:

1. Komodod

2. KMD-Nomp

3. Zcash GPU miner of your choosing


Once you have setup Komodod and KMD-Nomp, you can run your GPU miner just as you would with Zcash, but pointing it to your 127.0.0.1:7777 setup by KMD-Nomp instead.

This means you must be using a Linux miner, as Komodod and KMD-Nomp run on linux. If you wanted to install KMD-Nomp and Komodod on a linux machine on your network, you could use a windows GPU miner on another machine and point it to 192.168.1.xxx(linux machine with KMD-nope ip).

KMD-Nomp is mining pool software that interfaces with Komodod. In this case we will be pointing our miners to it locally, but with this software anyone can setup their own Komodo Mining Pool.

The ICO site is overloaded today. If you wait 2 min you will eventually get in.

You can login with the seed to the iguana app.
