KMD coins is decreasing deeply down and it seems it's undervalued . I do not understand why KMD price so cheap if there is any bad news for this coin? I feel regretful about this coin. Many investors are selling this coin without knowing the potential of KMD coin.
In any aspects of life. There are ups and there downs. It is a matter of knowing when it will occur. That is why there are guidance or indicators that such may or may not happen. If you really believe in KMD hold on. Many people dont have the luxury of holding it and they keep on seeking what is the best for their money. With a team of hardworking proven developers that came up with Komodo platform you will never regret being a KMD hodler. It is just a young technology. Maybe its potentials would 5 to 8 years from now where blockchain technology rules the Internet traffic.

i have to say kmd failed at public relation work, people on polo still dont know that btcd is dead, also the homepage is very sketchy and not refined. if you look at the marketing of pivx or dash then its no wonder why kmd wont fly right now. good tech is fine but you need promotion and a clear statement about who you are. the good part is this can easily be fixed

I'm solving blocks over at http://mining.miningspeed.com/workers It's low diff currently so it's good for me. I'm buying and mining to increase my hold. I expect we will see a big price increase if we can get KMD listed on Polo

Odd that Komodo price decreases while Supernet asset price increases, this suggests that the recent sellings are due to noob users that don't understand the big picture of Komodo/Supernet. The crypto landscape has been moving fast lately and there are many new interesting coins, so they grow impatient and sell in order to jump on the current pumps (btw in most cases it's the perfect recipe for losing money).
So I quick reminder of the big picture:
The main job now is having the basic wallet working stable all times on all OS. I don't know how long it will take but the team is working very hard on it. I'm pretty sure that once it happens the main features will be integrated quickly and the outlook will change in a short time.
Komodo/Supernet is one of the most "coin agnostic" projects out there. Whatever will happen to Bitcoin or whichever coins become predominant it doesn't matter much, they're not competitors but potential customers for our features and integration with Agama wallet.
The more money get poured from fiat to crypto and the more diverse the ecosystem grows and the better it is for the future of Komodo/Supernet. James once wrote that long term goal is having 1% of the world economy pass through crypto and 1% of crypto economy pass through Supernet. I believe this can be achieved.
Many crypto projects duplicate what others already do or they are solutions in search of a problem. Komodo/Supernet is one of the few that offers real solutions to real problems faced by the crypto economy. For example there is nothing like the Komodo currencies, what do you think will happen when they get integrated with OpenBazaar, Shapeshift and hundreds of other services?
Things will change fast once people can see and use the features rather than reading about it. Also marketing will be easier with use cases to show. He who sells now will cry later.

How KMD can be integrated with Open Bazar? Is this hard work that will need ages or not? Are there actual plans for this or this is just prediction? KMD is already great coin but with those kind of improvmens could be realy realy ground shaking!

https://twitter.com/satindergrewal/status/852717075491454976OB can already support other currencies. The Komodo fiat-pegged currencies have their own blockchain and can be integrated as simply as any other coin, they seem especially useful for a marketplace.

This is probably with intention to start panic and dump, to collect more coins under ICO price. This is classic when sell wall appears, i mean if he wants to sell he can dump anyway an anytime. This is philological attack stay calm!

Recently, I'm seriously considering of swapping my BTCD to Komodo. that's after holding back all the temptations until now. because I really saw the potential in the name "BitcoinDark". I need few things cleared for the swap decision so devs please help me. If I decide to hold my BTCD after Jan 2018, Will BTCD wallets, staking and transfers function after Jan 2018? or will devs decide to set a date for closing all the network and servers?
I'm worried that network will shut down and wallets will not function anymore after 2018. Thus, losing all the function and value of BTCD. And if there are more than handful number of BTCD holders inquiring small, even 1 developer or maintenance person for BTCD. is that a possibility?

This is a cryptocurrency, there's no death switch that the dev can activate to kill the coin. It can continue forever as long as there are users. Also there is no plan for what to do after the swap period, Bitcoindark will not have any dev team left but if a new one will form, maybe James can airdrop the coins to Kmd holders and Btcd will continue on his own path. I strongly suggest to swap, except the name everything has moved on Komodo. If you don't swap you miss the potential gains and instead hold a coin that is 90% dead. Even in the 10% probability that a new dev team forms it will take a long time (if ever) to reach the level of Komodo, and in such case you can still get Btcd with a later airdrop. So swapping is a win-win in both case.

- There's no way for us to shut down a decentralized network. If people don't swap and keep staking the network will survive. - There are no devs left for BitcoinDark - The price could very well be close to zero after the swap is over - Komodo will hold all the swapped coins after the swap - It has not been decided about what to do with those coins, they will be worthless unless someone comes up with a vision & dev team about what to do with that coin (and in that case it wouldn't really mater whatever we would use the BitcoinDark coins or create a new coin.) We recommend everyone to swap, there's no guarantee that the coin would hold any value after the swap, as explained before.

I will take a good amount of time to think about swapping. wish devs all the best.
