The Germany machine looks very good. They one of my favourites to win the world cup!

It looks easy when they play against weaker teams but when the real test comes i donot think tthey will show this kind of fire power, but I fancy Spain winning this one if all goes well

For me, the best game for today will be Colombia v Brazil. Brazil is in amazing form, and if we ignore friendlies, they com to this game with a 9 winning streak. I really think Brazil will win this one, even though they don't really need it since they have already qualified. I also don't expect to many goals, so I will risk under 2.5 goals as well.

Brazil is nothing more than individual briliance but they will still be  fancied for their past performance but I wouldnt write off Colombia  that easily

Serbia is very close to the Russia! We had played with 10 players since 68. minute. I was literally shaking till the end. I am very happy now! We've won probably the most important match in our whole football history.

Spain and Italy won, Spain as usual played extraordinary and managed to win by scoring eight goals and not conceded one goal. While Italy still has not amazed me anymore. Just winning 1-O against Israel is not the achievement that should be achieved by Italy.

For Spain and Italy this was the easiest group to be in. Both will be qualified, one directly and the other team with play offs. All other teams of this group are teams of very low quality compared to Spain and Italy.

Meanwhile I think Serbia is already qualified as they are 4 points ahead already and they will play last game at home against Georgia, they need a win here in order to be qualified or even a draw depending how other games end,so I consider them already qualified.

Well done to Syria for reaching the playoffs, what a game! Some feat achieved for a country who's played all their matches away from home, in conditions sometimes worst than a League 2 team in many countries (I recall lost buses, missing clothes and changing schedules when they were in Malaysia). Not to mention the terrible war which has killed so many footballers from this proud nation.

They still have to beat Australia to qualify but with so much at stake and a crazy horde of supporters, I won't be surprised if they just about slip through! Betfair's the only bookie with odds on this game (Syria at 12/5 now) and seems even they think the underdogs have a reasonable chance.

In group A France is on top with 1 point difference from Sweden but i believe France will qualify.
In group B Switzerland is on top with 3 point difference from Portugal wich make it so hard for the two teams.
Group C Germany is will easely qualify they are theworld champions.
Serbia, England, Poland and Spain are almost qualified.
It still some comperition in group I between Croatia, Iceland and Turkey but i think it's gonna be Croatia.
It still 2 rounds to play so let's wait and see.

Colombia night showed a great, organized game. Anyway, the Brazilians are already going to the World Cup in Russia 2018.

The only team that continues to disappoint me is Argentina. They just had to to more than they did. I think Venuzuela can be a hard team to beat when their defense is working, but they should be no match for Argentina, specially when playing at home. They need to turn their game around, it would be a shame to see a World Cup without Argentina and Messi :/

Yep Colombia success hold Brazil on that match and the final result is 1-1 draw, actually Neymar also played on that match. Argentina really piss me off, they even have big possession on that match against Venezuela. It's not about Venezuela is a hard defense team but Argentina players are sucks and so hard to make a goal.

the problem in Argentina not the focusing on Messi play or something like that , the problem is finding the  teammate  that should played , i think if they play without messi they could win that's my opinion

It was very disappointing to see Chile losing to Bolivia in the south america world cup qualifier rounds, Chile had a squad full of stars but Bolivia was the most threatening side in the whole match. If Chile does not improve their teamwork in the next match against Ecuador, they might not be able to qualify for world cup 2018 held in Russia.

Man, it's impossible to catch a break if you're considered a cult hero even if you never asked for it. There is no main cause in football results, if you are looking for someone to blame. Not the manager, not the referee, certainly not one player. It's a collective failure that has to be borne by all the players. Or it could be a mix of luck. I've played football myself and on a lucky day my miserably talentless team can beat a really good team on luck. And on some days, no matter how much you run, how painful your lungs are, how hard you fly into tackles, you just can't beat the goalpost.

That said, yes, there is too much of a reliance on Messi. See how Uruguay don't rely on Suarez nor Brazil on Neymar. For that matter, how Portugal don't rely on Ronaldo. Give Messi a break, too. Who said he had to be a great leader on the pitch? Who made him captain? Too much pressure, too much to ask even of a football demi-god.

Messi only really plays for himself when he goes to Argentina,he is really not an inspirational figure when it comes leading the national team, but the blame shouldn't be on him entirely, some of the players just don't give their best when they are playing for the national team, they only reason they have hopes of qualifying is because the Chileans lost the game to Bolivia, And i know that whoever gets the playoff slot will definitely qualify for the World Cup next year in Russia.

Yesterday i watched the news and saw the Syrians jubilating and i though they had made it to the World Cup when they scored a last minute equalizer against Iran and now they are going to face Australia, Even though they have done so well with regards to the turmoil in their home, I dont think they stand a chance against the socceroos.

sorry for Argentina fans but since messi at the teams Argentina always be failed from the big event from world cup untill Copa America indeed i would not blamed him because Messi want the best for Argentina but the title of the best player in the world doesn't sound good for me if he cannot get at least 1 trophy for National team untill end of his career
