it is very sad to see the Netherland is not able to qualify to the Russia world cup 2018. another sad news is that Arien Robben has retired from the international level of football. we will miss him in the orange jersey. so, Netherland has started to lose thier golden generation. i believe that every football fans will miss him badly.

The Russia world cup will miss a lot of Football stars. like Gareth Bale, David Alaba, Alex Sanchez, Bravo and most important player is Arien Robben. if you love football then you will miss those charismatic performances in Russia. I think European qualifying system should be revised. at least another 3 countries deserve to play at this biggest stage of Football.

A great Portugal yesterday. It would have been a shame if Portugal would have gone through the playoffs while Switzerland to go directly to the World Cup in Russia. Hungary made me lose a lot of money as I have bet on over 3.5 goals on them as all games between the two sides until yesterday were with goals. Statistics mean nothing in betting different from what many people think.

I do not think that the team of Argentina will be able to achieve something at the World Championships in Russia. The current team of Argentina is very unstable. They will come out of the group but will not be able to go further.

Yeah, Liverpool's current owners found this out the hard way. Statistics may have helped them get Red Sox to break their long drought, but it just doesn't work the same way in football/soccer.

Anyway, last night's game was incredible, Messi-ah carried the entire country into the World Cup, giving us one of the most memorable qualifying displays we've seen this year. Australia should also benefit now from not having to meet them in the playoffs, so there is still hope to see Tim Cahill for one last time on the big stage. My only "wish" for Syria to have also been a part of Russia didn't come through, but to see last edition's runners up back in it again next year is a prize worth that wish.

While there is no doubt that in Europe the level of soccer is at the highest, they already get the most spot in the world cup, you must remember it is a world cup so other countries from other continents need to attend as well even if that means that the overall level of the tournament is a little bit lower.

How about the format ? I mean, the winner is qualify to the World Cup 2018 Russia ? So 4 teams will qualify ? I think Italy will easily qualify and switzerland maybe can do that too. I'm not sure about Sweden though, their performance is really poor. I think Northern Ireland or Ireland can qualify.

As a Belgium guy, I hope and think that Belgium can get very far in this world championships. The team is overloaded with talent, so hopefully everything comes together at the right moment  .

correct me if i'm wrong but Bale is from Wales and this country didn't ever participant to world cup so nothing surprising about that and since Giggs still be the player Wales even always lose against big team in europe but indeed Holland achievement was ironic that since they are fighting for final game several years ago i didn't see again they're reach good achievement

Dont be so sure,Italy striking ability is very poor,Ireland always fight never give up,Denmark time to time is playing really well,thay won 4-0 against Poland,Greece is dangerous

But i ve been reading about new UEFA idea,Legeu of Nations,kind of national LM,what you guys thinking about it,clearly done to generate more money,but it can be to much for players
